Overview: As stated in the "Topic Description", this is a list of the general rules of the Bleach Roleplay. We encourage everyone to learn these rules, and to fallow them too. These rules have been constructed to benefit the roleplayers within the roleplay and to keep order amongst one another. The discipline that will be placed upon you for breaking a rule will vary from the situation; in most cases the first offense will result in a warning and the second offense will result in a period of time where you are unable to roleplay. We have around the clock enforcement of these rules, so if you have any questions about them or suggestions pleased contract a Moderator or Administrator through PM or other ways of communication.

  • Kidō (鬼道, "demon way", or "spirit way"): Kidō is one tool used by Shinigami in their arsenal to rid of the hollows. First off, the proper way to execute a Kidō mentioned in the anime/manga is to say the proper incantation for the spell, the incantation is usually a long sentence that takes a few moments to say: The final product being (example) "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat! (Geki)". We do realize that this is a lot to say for one quick line, so we modified how to execute the Kidō so it'll be easier to use and much more practical. To execute the Kidō spell, you simple say the type of spell (Bakudō or Hadō), the number of the spell (Scaling from 1-99) and finally the spell name. Although it's been mentioned within the bleach world than you can execute the Kidō whith skipping the incantation, or in this case the easy execution process we created for you. When you skip the process of what we call "activation process", the Kidō spell would dramatically decrease in power, making the Kidō spell almost useless. Finally, the common theme of a "Kidō expert" or "Master Kidō Controller" would not be accepted amongst the common student. Although you can be well skilled in Kidō, but it's very unlikely a student within the academy will become a Kidō master so quickly or have the ability to significantly increase the affects of their Kidō (which is also a common theme).

  • Reiatsu (霊圧, Spiritual Pressure) Reiatsu is commonly confused with Reiryoku. Reiryoku is the energy that is held within the person, and Reiatsu is a pressure or a known presence which is exerted through the various abilities Reiryoku serves in. At this time during the roleplay, Reiatsu is able to be felt by everyone, except for the humans being that they lack the essential properties to detect spiritual beings. Although we can all sense Reiatsu, it would be very hard for an Academy Student to pinpoint the source of the Reiatsu, so the common process of sensing the Reiatsu and going towards that source would be a very uncommon thing to experience within the roleplay. Lastly, even though Reiatsu is found within every human, it's only felt when some type of Reiryoku is being exerted from their bodies. So, as stated before, Reiatsu can only be felt through Reiryoku (Kidō and such), so it's impossible to track a persons Reiatsu when no Reiryoku is present at the time.

  • Reiryoku (霊力, Spiritual Power) Reiryoku, as said in the previous point, is the amount of Spiritual power one spiritual being has naturally. Reiryoku is used as one of the building blocks within the world of Bleach. Reiryoku is can be easily be manipulated by Shinigami and hollows, and have very effective outcomes when manipulated. With the early developments of the roleplay, we'll enforce the fact that the ability to manipulate one's Reiryoku will be on a level where it can be still effective in battle, but it wont be as powerful until you receive proper training and continue to train in it. A common thing people like to do with Reiryoku is being able to sense and pinpoint the location of Reiryoku, generally using this ability to track down another person and figuring out their location. The ability to do this is very uncommon amongst Academy Students, being that this skill needs long periods of time of training and some-what difficult to hold a grasp upon. So in general, being able to track down a person through Reiryoku will only be granted to the teachers of the Shinigami Academy and other higher ranked Shinigami.

  • Death (死): Everyone has the ability to die, despite being a Shinigami or a Hollow. Since we encourage general roleplay amongst our community, we came up with the idea that death does not need consent. This raises up some "red flags" in a general person, but we will have many restrictions with this idea. Once a Shinigami or Hollow dies, he/she will be turned into a Plus and roam around earth. The plus then can go two ways, become a Shinigami through the process of Soul Burial, or become a Hollow by either being devoured by another Hollow or having evil control their souls. There will be absolutely no randoming, or killing without any good reason. We believe that death will be an uncommon thing in the beginning, but when the roleplay develops death will be a un-common thing but not common enough where it occurs everyday. We hope the rule of no consent for killing wont be abused, and if it does we'll need to modify this rule. To have a death properly valid, it would have to be posted on the forums (in the correct category), and be reviewed by a moderator and an administrator. If everything is okay, the mod or admin can approve the death and the slain Hollow or Shinigami will then become a Plus and roleplay a plus until he becomes a Shinigami or Hollow.
