With the death of the former captain commander, the murder of the noble head and the execution of a traitorous vice captain, the shinigami have finally restored order, and they have received orders from the central 46 to meet back at the Sokyoku hill where everything began. This was a call to arms, and everyone was invited! What would happen at this meeting? Could they trust that another burly man in a mask wouldn't show up and punch reality in the face? They could only hope, and maybe pray a little. It was a warm, sunny day near noon when they were meant to gather on the hill, and as the groups gathered they saw that nobody was there. But an order was an order, so they would have to wait for a bit. Maybe the official was running late? |

Draven certainly couldn't say the last few weeks had been boring. There had been a general commotion amongst the entirety of the Gotei 13 after a few unexpected and unfurtunate events took place. But now they had to recover and get over the past or risk becoming vulnerable to other forces. During all the previous combat and incessant fighting people had forgotten him. The peaceful diplomat. Perhaps now he would play a larger role in all this, but in the meantime he waited for whatever this big event was to happen. That was the only thing he could do anyways. |

Kamiya Minoru ran, irritated and puffing, to the meeting room. What was with these meetings? Didn't they have any idea of schedules? Didn't they know that collecting good samples for research needed time and patience out in the field, uninterrupted by frivolous gatherings? And all of them at once, too. He fumed, but spared no breath to talk, and arrived at the Sokyoku sweaty and breathless. He glared around at the other shinigami, and made sure to stand apart from the others so that he wouldn't be unexpectedly jostled by any of them. |

Jonathon slowly approached Sokyoku hill with a weary look on his face, wearing the fatigue of the past year on earth upon his face and looking much for worse than he should. Honestly, it was a wonder he hadn't died. Having had to deal with not only the death of huge groups of Shinigami, the death of the woman he loved, Maria, as well as the horrifying process of hollowfication that he had barely gotten through? It was a wonder that he could even walk at all, let alone that he didn't just collapse on the spot and outright die. The only thing that seemed to be getting him through life, however, was the fact that he had people to protect, people to shelter, people to lead into a brighter future. And besides, he needed to be there to hear what it was exactly that hidemori had been up to and how he'd managed to save the multiple realms. |

Dagold approached the hill, curious to see what was in store. The captain commander was gone, vanished when the worlds closed. This should be interesting then. He walked up beside Jona, trying to get a feel for things. What would happen with so many vice captains AWOL, and half the noble heads dead? Did they even have enough officers left to fill the ranks? He supposed it couldn't be helped right now, they were supposed to be meeting the captain commander up here. Why did it always have to be on this damn hill? Why couldn't they just meet inside somewhere for once? This hill was just bad luck. Regardless, he stood where he was supposed to. So far it was just the 11th, 12th and 13th who had shown up. Where was everyone else? He was in the position to represent the 11th, Jona stood for the 13th with Draven at his side, and a member of the 12th had shown up alone. Poor bastard would probably have to stand in place for the 12th if Dietrich didn't show up. Izo didn't seem to be anywhere in sight, but that wasn't anything new. With Kaito and Sayuri dead, there didn't seem to be anyone showing up for the 9th division. The thought of Sayuri being dead still weighed heavily on him. She had asked him to back off and let her deal with it, and like a fool he had listened. He felt a pang of jealousy toward Jona, since he had been the one to off the traitorous fuck. The 8th division was empty, and the 7th division vice captain had long since vanished as well. Ikari... hell who knew. Probably off moping somewhere. He was fairly certain Akemi might show up to claim her spot as leader of the fifth, and that medic Max would probably show up for the 4th. Akira already ruled the third, 2nd squad was a ghost town and Ryuken ran the first. Was the new commander waiting for everyone to arrive before showing up? |

Max had been sent to represent the 4th squad, though he wasn't sure what that exactly meant when he showed up to find a few others just kind of standing around. Though he was the 6th seat, he had surpassed his vice captain in power and matched her in healing abilities, so he had been sent to stand in her place while she tended to the injured back at the barracks. She never did like crowds, anyway. He looked around, seeing the usual suspects. The ranks had been fairly thinned by the constant raging battles on earth, and now few still stood to represent them and fewer with the power to hold their positions. Where the hell was everyone? It seemed to be mostly 13th division showing up. |

Tinya followed closely behind Jona, ever the loyal subordinate. She wasn't sure what was in store, she hadn't even been there for the last big meeting because she had her graduation ceremony from the academy. All she had ever known about being in the gotei 13 was learned on earth, so being part of the shinigami strength back in seretei was entirely foreign to her. Regardless, she was eager to learn and figure out what was going on. She had worn her shinigami robes instead of her usual fighting gear. She was certainly hoping they weren't in for a fight, but at least the robes would function to fight in since that was what most shinigami wore in battle. When Jona finally stopped, she stood a few feet behind and to the side of him, looking around. |

Michelle showed up in an Izanagi kimoni since she didn't have an actual uniform anymore. Forest of menos did that to ya, ruined your clothes. That was all she had, so she wore it. She stood where she was directed, now the izanagi representative after the death of the former head. That's all I've got. Shut up, 5 posts in a row you run out of shit to write. |

Those gathered would soon have their answer after about ten minutes of silence. A bright flash of light formed in the sky before what seemed like a meteor came shooting down. Standing in the smaller crater it created was a figure in the smoke. It could not yet be made out, but it began to approach the edge of the smoke. As the figure emerged from the smoke, they stood just in front of it to look over those gathered. Spoiler: click to toggle She stood there for a second, looking over everyone before finally speaking. Her voice and appearance seemed too bubbly to belong to the massive amount of power everyone could sense where she was standing. "Right then, a pleasure to meet you all. I am Kimiko Tsukuyomi, zero squad. I will be your acting captain commander until one of you are strong enough to fill that role." She looked around again, clearly annoyed. "So where is everyone? I know this isn't everyone we have, so we have a few late people. Oh well, their loss. I'm here to place deserving people in their proper seats, so anyone who doesn't get here soon just plain isn't getting one. So, any question while we give everyone a few minutes?" This couldn't be real... could it? |

Takara was late to the meeting but in all honesty, the day had not started off well. First, she couldn't decide what to wear. She wanted to wear her normal, frilly, girly dresses but she was also told to wear her normal shinigami robes.. After much debate, Takara finally gave in and wore her standard robes. Two factors went into Takara's tardiness.. One, her sense of direction and awful habit of wandering made her get terribly lost twice. And second, she wasn't wearing her glasses like she should have been so she could hardly see where she was going. But eventually, the child finally made it.. She appeared shortly after the captain commander appeared. She was going to apologize for being late but Kimiko started talking so she quietly took her seat in the tenth division section.. There were a lot of people she knew here. She was all alone in her section but that was too be expected, the tenth didn't have too many people in it. Takara sighed sadly but for the most part remained silent. Edited by Takara, Feb 20 2014, 05:36 AM.
