In the world of Bleach, humans are the average race that one will see and interact with on a daily basis. Most cannot see or sense disembodied spirits in any way. Though spirits can, however, inhabit artificial Human bodies called Gigai which are visible to ordinary Humans. One in 50,000 Humans is a medium with some awareness of nearby ghosts, but only a third of these are able to see them clearly, and only the strongest of mediums are able to speak with or touch ghosts.These are the unique Humans who naturally have both the power to sense and the strength to fight with spirits. Ordinary Humans can gain the ability to interact with spirits by spending time around a large source of spirit energy.

It is with these options that you become able to manifest power, ascending to the high heavens of the spiritual world. When a Human dies they become a Plus. In Plus state they can either go on to become a Shinigami or descend into a Hollow. If this human was evil in their life, when purified they will go straight to Hell and become a Sinner.

A Highspec is a human spirit medium with a high level of spiritual energy (reiryoku). They are able to see and interact with spirits, with their own soul approaching the highest "Plus" level. Highspec's manifest their powers into an object, that object has a spirit similar to a shinigami's zanpaktou, their spiritual object has a medium strength for defense, and while it is being used it has a strong strength. If your spiritual item were destroyed you would be unable to use it's powers, until it regenerates, which usually takes quite a long time. High Spec's powers are very similar to that of Kidou and with proper training, they can learn Kidou themselves. Developing unique powers as a Highspec is a rarity, as their power is like creating unique Kidou, something which involves a bit of soul searching and a lot of training to wield and master.

The Great Teacher - Highspec Storyline


In many religions there exists a chosen one. Be them a great prophet or the avatar of God himself, they exhibit great wisdom and power beyond human comprehension. Since the dawn of time there has been Shinigami, Hollow, and the Plus. What hasn't existed since the earliest of times, was that of a Highspec medium. Like the first Fullbringer, the first Highspec medium came into the world 2000 years ago when Soul Society was but merely establishing itself. They were born to a woman that was actually raped by a Shinigami. It is uncertain if this child was thus the child of a Shinigami and a Human or the child of the mother's husband. What is certain is that the woman was impregnated and would give birth to a son on the night of a full moon. A son that was gifted with wisdom and due to the heritage of his mother and her husband, would be raised as royalty. Unfortunately, two days after the birth of her son, the mother passed away. The boy's father had been given a prediction from his advisers.

"If the prince sees someone old, someone sick, a dead person, and a monk, he will want to leave the palace and become a monk himself, instead of being a prince." they told the King, which deeply worried him. To ease the King in his distress, the mother's sister stepped up to raise the boy. As the boy grew up, he was shown to be very clever, able to study easily and play games at a high skill level. As hew grew up, the young boy whom was a prince, was always kind to those around him, including animals. It was as if the animals could sense a great spirit within him and the prince lead a very comfortable life. Despite his luxury, he felt such sympathy for others and knew that human and animal alike did not like to suffering and pain. There are many instances where he stopped others from harming animals or their fellow man.

Despite his best efforts, he witnessed many animals pain and suffering but things were put into perspective one day. The Prince noticed various other creatures around him but a lizard whom was eating ants had caught his eye. A snake then came by, caught the lizard, and ate it. Right after the snake ate the lizard, a bird came down from the sky, picked up the snake and so it was eaten also. The Prince realized that all these creatures might experience a moment of happiness, but then they ended up suffering. After seeing this, he broke from the crowds and mediated upon the suffering he witnessed in life.

When the King found his son meditating, he was reminded of the prediction and sought to distract him. He lavished him with material wealth, to no avail. Despite this, the Prince would grow strong, perhaps stronger than any man twice his age. Despite this, he was now able to marry and would be betrothed to a lovely young princess. In order to be allowed to marry the princess, he needed to prove his worth and tame a wild horse. Rather than beat this horse, like many a suitor would; he was able to see that an evil spirit was possessing the horse. By simply talking with the horse, he was able to exorcise the evil spirit's hold without raising a hand. This only made the princess fall in love with him that much more, allowing them to be married at 16.

The King had continued his efforts to distract the prince, going as far as to ensure that no old people entered the Prince's palace. Yet he grew tired of palace life and was finally allowed to leave the palace. He would take visits to the outside world, where he came into contact with an old man. Seeing the colour of his hair and how frail his body was, gave the prince quite a fright. He'd return home and could not sleep as he thought about old age. On his next visit he would encounter a sickly man and despite wanting to help him, was cautioned not to go near, for even he could get sick as well. On his last visit, he witnessed a man being carried on a stretcher. He was not moving but he could see vaguely a spirit shifting in and out of the body. He was told the man was dead and was to be cremated.

This caused him to return to the palace and think about all the things he'd seen. He wanted to find a way out of all the pain, suffering, sickness and death that he witnessed. When he went for another outing he came into contact with a monk whom gave up his life to search for a freedom from worldly suffering, inspiring the young prince. Unfortunately his wife gave birth to a son that day and he could not leave so easily. Eventually all the distractions of the King broke down and failed. The prince wanted to truly know what life was like and so would leave the palace to experience life for himself.

He bade his wife and son farwell with the promise of return, as well as his trusted aid. Now he would be truly alone. He experienced the life of a monk, living with many sages and discovering "truths". His power was slowly growing with each challenge. He had strengthened his mind but still didn't have the answers he sought. He went to another teacher whom taught him how to disconnect his emotions and attain perfect calm, but the mysteries of life and death had not been explained. Thus he went off once more, this time choosing to rely on his own wisdom. He would soon gather disciples and practice asceticism which forced him to endure physical suffering. He had become so extreme that one day he nearly died but was revived by the passing kindess of a young boy with his goat. Once revived, his efforts to achieve enlightment were changed completely. It was not through intense suffering that he'd find his answer.

Instead he ate normally and restored his health. His friends saw him as greedy and abandoned him, whilst he now took up perch beneath a tree. He was offered many gifts which he took and used in his quest for enlightnment. There under that tree, his true powers would finally be awakened. They manifested through the gifts given to him, that of the straw which laid beneath him, the pot which had the milk rice porridge, and the bodhi tree which faced east. With his power awakened, he gained great foresight, able to see his past lives, the path of transmigration through the dangai. Then he was able to see the source of suffering and what happened to others whom lead a life of evil, by seeing a Plus be sent to Hell and catching a glimpse of the Kushanada. After all this, which was simply the first time using his powers, his reiatsu had manifested like a glowing light. He remained in a state that would come to be known as "Nirvana", which was a state he entered when he cleared his mind and allowed his reiryoku to manifest around him in the form of Reiatsu.

After days of this, he got some rest and through inspiration knew that he needed to teach others what he had learned and seen. His friends whom had abandoned him noticed him coming and wanted to ignore him at first, till they noticed the light he gave off. They could not truly feel the reiatsu about him, but what little they could changed their mind about him. Soon they too would be able to fully open their eyes to the truth of the world. They had become enlightened but in reality, their power was awakening, turning them into highspecs as well. His influence had spread and spread, which attracted evil to him in the form of his cousin. His cousin sought to take his life many a time, but his power and reiatsu thwarted him each time. Despite this, the cousin wanted to break up the followers. His efforts would not only fail but it was as if the former prince knew what he intended to do and forewarned him that if he continued, he would reap evil fruits.

In the end, he ignored the warning and eventually succumbed to illness and died before being able to speak with the cousin he tried to betray. After which, the former prince spread his teaching throughout the land, living far longer than a human should. He was able to utilize his powers and spread power effectively, though never enough to grant them their own unique power. He would teach many and many people before foreseeing his death. He prepared his spirit to enter what he called the final nirvana and once settled he passed away. His soul transmigrating to Soul Society without need for a soul burial.

Upon his death, the spiritual power of many of his disciples had cooled, yet it was enough to spread around the land, allowing for more mediums to be born. They say one in every 50 000 has the potential after all.

A Fullbringer is a human whom survived a Hollow attack during pregnancy. As a mere developing child, they absorbed the remnant Hollow Reiryoku, thus becoming Spiritually Aware from a young age, as well as having access to Fullbring (Full Manifestation Art). Fullbringer's manifest their powers from an object that they have had for a long time. The object can not manifest into a personification. It has a medium strength for defense, and while it is being used it has a strong strength. If your spiritual item, known as a Pride to Fullbrings were destroyed you would be unable to use it's powers, until it regenerates, which usually takes quite a long time. In order to wield Fullbring, the user uses their body; which requires a great deal of stamina to fight with Fullbring at higher levels.

Power Share: Humans with the powers of Hollows (Fullbring) and Shinigami (Substitutes) have a special connection to the Spiritual World. The barrier between their human lives and a world which most can't interact with has not only shattered; but has now become flexible. With this development they are able to share powers amongst each other. This is often done to form pacts, not unlike what a Hollow would do with those in their colony or duchy. When this bond is made it can only be acted on when both parties are together. The next condition of the "pact" is that you can only make a pact a certain amount of times before you're at your limits. This makes the act sacred in its own right, so choose well.

The Chosen One - Fullbring Backstory


In many religions there exists a chosen one. Be them a great prophet or the avatar of God himself, they exhibit great wisdom and power beyond human comprehension. Since the dawn of time there has been Shinigami, Hollow, and the Plus. What hasn't existed since the earliest of times, was that of a Fullbringer. The first Fullbringer came into the world 2000 years ago, when Soul Society was but merely establishing itself. They were born to a virgin woman that was attacked by an unusual Hollow. It's ability allowed it to "rape" women without actually having sex with them. Rather it would implant life into their womb, then patiently let it's power "grow" within their target. When the target gave birth, it would die and the child would then become a vessel for it to live on or rebirth from should it be defeated in combat.

This Hollow had become so notorious, that it prompted the Shinigami to take drastic measures. They gathered their strongest, forming the first "Squad". This Squad would then train newer recruits forming what the Shinigami know today as the Shino Academy. As they built up their numbers, the first Squad would soon become a Division. Their goal was to hunt down notorious Hollows such as this one and slay them. They would take turns heading down to Earth to gather intel. Each time they were always too late or scared the Hollow before it could take a victim. Unfortunately there seemed to be a black out of info for nine months. When the Shinigami caught wind of it's whereabouts, it was located in the Middle East. Seemingly it was stalking a young woman whom was due to give birth.

Using this as a distraction, the Shinigami would take out the Hollow before the birth of the child. Defeating the Hollow meant that the child would no longer be a potential host for its rebirth. Unfortunately, what the Shinigami did not know, was the child had absorbed the latent Hollow Reiryoku. It was a simple birth in isolation to a poor family. The child, a boy would grow up and was seemingly smarter than those around him. He could see what others could not, talk to those much older and wiser than the holy men in his life. This lead to much jealousy, as well as admiration. He demonstrated his powers to many, including men whom would become his disciples. He walked on Water, a sign that his powers were maturing as he had learned Bringer's Light. He was able to turn water into wine by knowing how to intimately control the spirit of the water and many more miracles.

Unfortunately once Shinigami caught wind of this, it left a moral predicament. Should they kill this human whom possessed rare powers? They had standards which were being put into practice around this time. Many whom once were cold blooded killers, were older and wiser. They decided instead to let the humans deal with him and watch him closely for now. The times were in their favour, for the jealousy of his enemies had caught up with him. They would imprison him and eventually he'd be put to death. For those disciples whom had been in his presence throughout the time his power was maturing, a small bit of that power had rubbed off on them, enabling them to see the spiritual world as he did, making them mediums. Unfortunately, they them self had no normal power but could see the spirit of their master.

He would tell them about what he saw through metaphors, as he did his best to explain to them about life after death. He had witnessed spirits experience a soul burial. Considering he was still around, he knew that life did not end in death and that was what he left his disciples before his own soul burial shortly after. With his fullbring lost with his mortal body, his soul would transmigrate to Soul Society through the Dangai. Of course, while this one may have been the first. Some other Hollows had taken up imitating that one notorious Hollow, creating many men like the first Fullbringer, which meant more mediums to teach the "truth" about the world. Thankfully, many a man did not listen, which meant the Shinigami did not have to do much about the after-effects of these attacks. Simply slaying the Hollows and those whom dared to imitate was enough.

“All we ask is to know the origins.”


The Quincy at first were nothing more than humans who had come under attack of Hollows and survived. The humans that survived these brutal attacks and could not accept the deaths of those around them begun to dive deep into religions, science, and magic but none had the success like the man who would later become the leader of the White Cross.

200 years ago a farmer and his family were returning to their home and farm based on a hill that gave view of the ocean, beach, and town. The family had gone to the town to sell their produce and have a mini-vacation with the extra earnings. The sun was just setting when five horses were making their way up the hill carrying the humans of the Gwen family; Henry the father, Lucile the mother, and their seven children: Henry the 2nd, Henrietta, Michael, Mary, Donovan, Maes, Hannah. The family was accompanied by two cows that carried their materials and like the father should with his eldest son the parted from the family and took the cows to the stable first, as that happened Lucile took the rest into the home.

The candles lit up the entire home, the children aged 11-5 played silently in the home, while the pair of Henry’s worked outside, but something wasn’t right…the animals of the farm were shifting around the farmlands, horses growing violently, and the cows had all took a position as if they were cowering in their own pens. Henry the first had never seen anything like this out of his or anyone other farmers animals….meanwhile in the home while the Henry’s were outside Donovan had sat at the window staring out into the openness. The boy’s eyes were quite adjusted to the darkness since he enjoyed sneaking out and playing in the night air, but this time the eight year old boy had felt something off! The other children didn’t seem to have these feelings, but Lucile never removed her eyes off Donovan and unlike other as she was preparing stew, she never released the butcher knife.

Time had passed without interruption (thirty minutes to be exact) and the men had come inside to join the family for dinner, but Donovan refused his normal seat beside his brother and demanded to sit next to his mother on the other end of the table looking out the window. Henry realized his sons behavior was maybe paranoia, but the fact that his wife was still carrying her butcher knife made him cautious and kept his rifle close by. “I’m scared..” Donovan said. His voice however was covered by the sound of the farm animals wailing, and Henry taking off to examine the problem. The rest of the family waited in the home since Lucile wouldn’t let her eldest son leave, she quickly locked the door and blew the candles out. Her children were taken and placed in her wardrobe, but to make room Henry the 2nd and Donovan remained out since Michael was sick he felt it’d be better if he hid somewhere else and that place was none other a crawl space in the wooden structure where they hid valuables.

Henry the second took his fathers spare rifle and hid behind the curtain while Lucile stood at the door pistol and knife in hand, from beneath the floor Donovan could see his mother, and instantly he knew things would not be fine. The firing of their fathers rifle went off not once but two times before his voice screamed out into the open. The children were taught to not scream in these instances instead Henry the second loaded his rifle quietly and prepared, but for what was going to happen no amount of training would help, the children screamed but not Donovan he laid still in fear as the front end of their home was ripped away by a huge…hand?
The eyes of Lucile focused on a beast who still had heir husbands form hanging from its dog-shaped white mask though it was a ghostly blue corpse with an odd chain hanging from its chest, he was clearly dead. Lucile must of known this cause the tears ran down her cheeks to the wooden frame as she pulled the trigger aiming for the green torso of the bi-pedal beast, but nothing with the swing of its arm she was removed from this world. And like their father she was soon added to the collection. The beast had two souls, but hadn’t left…why? Henry the second could see, but remained frozen the beast moved throughout the home and let out a howl “Children! I heard your screams!” The monster turned to the wardrobe, but the rifle of Henry the 2nd would go off and the bullet struck the creature. Donovan shuddered and turned his eyes, as his brother was added to the collection.

“Ah, behind the curtain, I wouldn’t have looked there.” The beast turned to his original target and Donovan was forced to watch his brother and sister share the fate of his mother and father, but what came next was un-expected. The hound pounded the floor boards in attempt to maybe crush Donovan, but his form was removed from Donovan’s sight. “Remove evil Tono!” A man garbed in black appeared and defeated this creature. From the ground Donovan emerged and stared at the massacre, his family hadn’t been dead long, but their cries were cut short by the man, before they could possibly lash out at the only survivor he purified their souls. Later that evening Donovan begged for this man who was revealed to be a Shinigami if he could teach him how to protect the things he loved like that man did, but instead he was denied and told that it was only a Shinigami duty, a human child should pretend his family was lost in a accident and forget about the incident so he could live a simple life.

“All I…we ask is for the power to protect the ones we love!”

Eight years passed since then and a 16 year old Donovan had been living within a church learning the ways of western religion, chants, exorcism’s, but none seemed to have an effect of hollows, he had found them by stalking Shinigami’s in their Gigai and testing the chants after the beast are subdued but none have worked. After three failures he left the church and took to the boats, he had heard of monks that lived in the east that have been known to do extraordinary acts, and claim that they focus their bodies energy. With a shaved head and cleared mind he walked into their arms, but this too was a failure! Donovan was now acting as the other folks he had met within the arms of the church and monasteries…so he returned home.

The graveyard was the setting for this amazing discovery, Donovan was now a man of twenty five years and was standing in the graveyard which contained his body. He had returned to his home to merely pray to his family, but when he was confronted with an attack he was able to subdue the beast himself! Why? The man was able to combine his teachings from different cultures, religions, and the souls within the field reacted to his energy. The reaction was a arrow that formed directly into his hand and this was the biggest leap for the White Cross.

Donovan spent the rest of his years teaching the others who he met and who searched him out how to channel this energy and soon they had become what some would see as a cult, but to them they were a family, their teachings pulled them together as Monks of destruction! Or simply… The Quincy of the White Cross and Saint Donovan was their leader for 100 years until he passed.
“Now we have it they want to take it from us!”

Many generations of Saints passed each born from Donovan’s blood until Saint Leun of Japan.
This was about the time the Shinigami started their great decent! Their forces poured into one of the main White Cross Churches in attempt to remove the pope, believing if he himself was taken from the world, that the Cross would loose their connections to those who created their weaponry and the bloodlines would end. They hadn’t known of Saint Leun nor that the head of the White Cross fell into this mans arms and he had taken the job proudly. The Shinigami lacked knowledge of the saint before him. Saint Donavan was deemed infertile and is unable to produce a child, but he had felt Leun was…a grand solution.Leun was a good man and pope! He was said to be one of the strongest to hold the saint title; even being noted that his disappearance was either a plot of the Shinigami that hunted the White Cross, but it was never verified. People also believe he may of fought and killed the first hybrid Hollow, but again that is all to his lore, all that is known is that his picture hangs in every hall of every church.

“The Order Of the White Cross”

The Quincy and the Order were now lacking a leader! That is until a young child appeared on the doorstep of Saint Donovan, the child arrived on the day of the original Saints death which he shared with his siblings odd enough, this child resembled the late saint, and unlike the others. This child was very good at controlling their energy and quickly assumed the top position as Pope. The monstrous power the Saint had shown, not to mention the odd connections to the Saints from before.

“We are the Order of the White Cross. We are the archers of God and we fear no Shinigami who may dare interfere with our Justice.”- Saint Don the Pope.

As a member of the Quincy you are automatically seen as family to the other Quincy! Members of the Order are required to show no justice to the Hollow or any Shinigami that may interfere in their ideas of Justice. Being in the order means that you have the ability to use the powers that are said to be granted to those who have seen evil and because it, through the first Saint Donovan, and god you have been empowered with the duty and right to serve and protect the people of earth.

Every Quincy has the ability to manipulate their Reiryoku which is the natural spirit energy of the body and using this energy to form weapons (The Quincy Cross/Bow.) The final step is using your Reiryoku once again to gather Reishi (spirit particles) and form them into arrows that pierce and destroy evil!

Substitute Shinigami (ËÀÉñ´úÐÐ, shinigami daikou) is someone who became Shinigami by obtaining another Shinigami's power, or by going through a much harder and riskier process to transform him/herself into one. Obtaining another Shinigami's power is done by thrusting his/her Zanpakut¨­ into the person's chest who wants to obtain the power. However, the percentage of success is low. In the case of success, the person normally obtains around half of the Shinigami's power, and only temporarily.In some cases however, the whole power of the original Shinigami,can be transferred into someone, due to his enormous innate spiritual power.

This practice is forbidden by the Soul Society, as it can give birth to rogue Shinigami with great power, thereby it is only applied as a last resort measure. The Soul Society can choose to punish the individual who gave up their power and also take out the person who received said power.

As a Shinigami Substitute, you gain these traits:

Longevity: While they can age and die just like humans it is not uncommon for one to live for thousands of years and not age all that much in said time span.

Enhanced Endurance: While shinigami can still take damage like a regular human it still takes far greater wounds to cause them enough damage where they would die in the end.

Reiyoku: Shinigami naturally give off a spiritual energy that that variers in the magnitude of the shinigami strength .

Kid¨­: (spells like this can be obtained in the catalog for shinigami for their respective xp cost) The technique that Shinigami use to focus their Spiritual Energy into magic spells of various powers. As a Substitute you will have to get a Shinigami to teach you the spell in a training thread before you can purchase it yourself.

Zanpakut¨­: The most prominent supernatural power possessed by a Shinigami is their Zanpakut¨­, a supernatural sword (which can be in the form of any kind of Japanese sword) generated from the Shinigami's soul. A Zanpakut¨­ is a physical manifestation of this force concentrated into a blade.All Shinigami have a Zanpakut¨­, but not all of them carry one with them. A substitute's Zanpaktou is considered to be of medium strength in it's unreleased form. While Shikai, or Bankai are active, a Zanpaktou has a strong strength, apart from any other tags due to abilities, or masteries.


Substitute's on Bleach the World


Important note about Shinigami Substitute's before you begin to play them.
This race can be accessed in three different ways. The first way is to simply create a Shinigami Substitute like you would any other race. You'll start at the bottom or if you're recreating your previous rank. Starting Subs can be humans born of a Shinigami/Human pairing or you can tell the tale of how you got your powers in your history. The Second way is temporarily by gaining the powers from a PC, for this to work out you need to be relatively strong (500XP Rank +). When you gain the power from a PC, while it is only temporary you'll be able to access their power at your own equivalent rank. For example, Player A is an 800XP Shinigami and Player B is an 500XP Human of either High Spec or Quincy type. By Transferring their power to you, you'll be able to temporarily utilize their own Shinigami power of 500XP equivalence. When using the temporary method, it'll only last for three full threads before the original Player character will gain their power back. The third method to play a substitute is to pay a 500XP Toll as a High Spec or Quincy and then the corresponding rank. Please note if you're a Fullbring user, unless using the temporary method, how your Shinigami powers manifest are completely different and will be covered in the Fullbring Section relatively soon.

Power Share: Humans with the powers of Hollows (Fullbring) and Shinigami (Substitutes) have a special connection to the Spiritual World. The barrier between their human lives and a world which most can't interact with has not only shattered; but has now become flexible. With this development they are able to share powers amongst each other. This is often done to form pacts, not unlike what a Hollow would do with those in their colony or duchy. When this bond is made it can only be acted on when both parties are together. The next condition of the "pact" is that you can only make a pact a certain amount of times before you're at your limits. This makes the act sacred in its own right, so choose well.

Shinigami Substitute's operate in Districts (ie a particular town/city) in particular spots. Their restrictions detail what the substitute is responsible for in their district. For example, a low level restriction might be that you're only responsible for Karakura Mall, with no ability to lead a squad. The District/Restriction breakdown will be coming soon.

Substitute Shinigami (ËÀÉñ´úÐÐ, shinigami daikou) The Legend


There is a rumour that once long ago, at the creation of the Shinso Academy, a graduate had went to earth in order to slay Hollows. This was his first mission and he was rather confident, if not over-confident in his Skills. Perhaps had it been a lower form of Hollow the graduate would have had some merit to his genius; alas having picked up on the sense of a strong soul, a much more powerful Hollow that of a Gillian came to find the graduate.

In his hunt he soon became the prey for this Hollow and was engaged in combat rather suddenly. The fight took place within a shrine west of Karakura Town. The clash of Zanpakuto meeting sharpened claws alerted a priestess whom was sleeping. When the Shinigami graduate was thrown through the wall of the shrine, he skidded over to her bed side. The Priestess was a High Spec Human, thus she was able to clearly see the injured Shinigami before her. Screaming because of his battered form, the blood trickling down his shoulder...she almost didn't hear the words he whispered.

"Hey...woman, sorry to impose on you like this but I need your help; otherwise we're both dead." He declared as he attempted to rest up against the bed side. She moved out of her bed and knelled before him. Looking out the giant hole in her room, she could see the Hollow searching around and nearly screamed. "Ssssh...stay calm, I have an idea." He looked to the side to take note of the Hollow's position as well. "This has never been done before, heck I don't even know if we'll make it but if there's a chance, I want to take it. I'm going to try and transfer my power to you, so that you can defeat the monster outside."

Of course, saying that to any human was far from reassuring and yet when the Hollow finally caught sight of them, it raced towards them with it's jaws wide open. The graduate held out his zanpakuto to her and she took his hands, allowing him to thrust the blade through her chest. The Priestess being as powerful as she was already, drained all of the graduate's Shinigami powers and emerged with a red sash around her waist. Her blade was long, manifesting as a Daito class blade. With all her might she thrusted it through the Hollow's mouth, slicing straight down and vanquishing it.

After the incident, Soul Society dispatched two of their Shinigami to pick up both the human with the newly gained Shinigami powers and the graduate. They ran a trial and it was declared that giving Shinigami powers to a human while a possible last resort, posed too much risk to the chain of command. The graduate was sentenced to imprisonment and the Priestess was stripped of her power. Despite this, after the trial there was a meeting. It was acknowledged that as risky as it was, a day may come where like the graduate, another one of them could be in the same situation. In those situations, having a substitute on earth could be useful. Hundreds upon hundreds of years later, they invented a badge, giving those whom were cleared in the future, the chance to assist Soul Society; as well as be monitored by them to prevent rogue Shinigami. Only Captain class Shinigami can give the badge out, though it's possible to acquire this badge by other means, pending the circumstance.

Description: Having trained in melee combat, you are able to fight well with your body. For you, knowing your body is the key to gaining the advantage in a fight. In your case, you're able to train your body to see the attacks that your opponent performs.For an ordinary opponent, they can only throw a kick, punch, etc four times in one action. With your training you can see and keep up with twice the amount of kicks, punches, etc within hand to hand combat during a turn.

Description: Perceving movement, especially for combat comes natural to you now, able to see four times the amount of ordinary strikes in one action, as well as the strength of those strikes. However, what you've really gained is control, thus you're able to power up your own strikes with either a weak,medium, or strong modifier. Using the weak modifier; youre strikes will gain weak strength for a duration of five turns. After that, this mastery enters cool down for five seconds (one turn). A medium boost is three turns but it requires five seconds to focus your reiryoku into your strikes. A Strong boost requires two turns to focus and then gives you one turn(five seconds) of strong strength.

Description: An expert in weaponry is one whom knows their weapon like they know their hand. At this level you can utilize your melee weaponry twelve times in one post (three times that of the ordinary amount which is 4). Your mid to long range weapons can now extend their range by 60Ft. However the most important thing for a Weaponry Expert is the ability to safeguard their weapon from damage. Thus so long as a Weaponry Expert focuses on their weapon for five seconds, they can utilize their reiatsu to add a Medium strength defense to their weapon, which will last for three turns. This does increase your attack power for that duration with said weapon as well. After that, this ability enters cool down for three turns (fifteen seconds).

Description: A master never stops learning how to utilize their weapon, it is as natural to them as breathing. Your experience now enables you to gauge the strength of other's weapons (including the projectiles they fire (of weak, medium, strong). For a master, safeguarding your weapon is instinct because it is precious to you. Thus you can pour in reiatsu into your weapon for ten seconds (two posts) in order to add a Strong strength defense to their weapon, which will last for three turns. This ability enters cool down for four turns (twenty seconds) after use.
Lastly you've pushed your skill further than an expert; now your melee weapons can strike four times as much as the ordinary amount per post (16 strikes). Your mid-to-long range weapon can now fire off an additional 100Feet.
Prerequisite: Weaponry Expert

Now that you're Seasoned you can also gauge the speed of these actions (weak,medium,strong) and the total amount of actions they made within five seconds. This mastery enables advanced High Speed movement techniques.

Like the lower variants, this mastery enables advanced High Speed movement techniques.

Description: Being human spiritual energy is not something you take for granted, thus you're far more aware of your own reiryoku and controlling it. As a Beginner you can utilize spiritual energy far more efficiently than those whom don't specialize in these arts, consuming one rank less in stamina down to weak* (As in, if the ability is weak then you can't reduce the stamina consumption any further than this). If you're a Quincy, this means you can decrease the amount of ginto required by one* (Unless of course the minimum Ginto required is one then you still need to use that tube).

Name: Reiryoku Manipulation and Control Expert (Spiritual Energy Manipulation and Control)
Rank Required: Exorcist, Bishop, and Agent
Description: Now that you've been using Reiryoku for awhile, you've refined how you use it. Like previously you decrease the rank of stamina consumption or the amount of ginto required by one* (forcing you to still use weak stamina or one ginto to perform the technique), however you've gotten more in tune with Reiryoku usage. When your opponent is using up their Reiryoku you can gauge the stamina consumption and the power of the Reiatsu their emitting with their abilities (weak,medium,strong). Alternatively you're able to perform two of your abilities for the price of one. If you're a Quincy, this means that if two techniques required two ginto for example, you could simply spend two Ginto to cast both spells. If one spell requires more ginto than the other, then you use the amount of ginto for the spell which requires more to get the two for one benefit. If you're not a Quincy then the stamina consumption of the higher ranking technique is the one that gets used to pay the toll for both techniques. For example; If you fire a Medium and a Weak Kidou as a Substitute; then you'll consume Medium stamina loss for both. After three usages of this mastery skill, you will enter cool down for ten seconds.
Prerequisite: Reiryoku Manipulation and Control Beginner

Name: Reiryoku Manipulation and Control Master (Spiritual Energy Manipulation and Control)
Rank Required: Sage, Cardinal, Auxiliary Commander
Description: As a Master your reiryoku manipulation and control is efficient like a well oiled machine. With this level of skill, you are able to bypass any Kotodama that your abilities require. When the Kotodama is skipped, the strength of the ability is decreased by one rank. Thankfully, like the previous skills; you're able to drop the level of stamina consumption one these skills by one rank (with the lowest level being weak regardless). If you're a Quincy, you're able to drop the amount of ginto used by one (with the minimum required staying at one). In the case of a Fullbring user, when you speak with the spirit of objects rather than give specific instruction, you can bypass that; the objects seemingly "knowing" what you said; though it decreases the efficiency of the technique.

Fullbringer Ability: Full Manifestation Art – Level 1
Description: The base ability of any Fullbringer, allowing them to manipulate the souls of objects. This general, multi-purpose change of objects albeit not to that high of a degree. This stage of ability allows the user to do things such as make liquids leap small distances, alter their arms to lift slightly more, or soften and mold a rock to make it a kind of faux-chair. The varied nature of this ability allows many creative uses although are generally small changes at this level.

At this point in-time you can now do things like splitting a hot tub's water like Moses, alter the ground beneath you to be soft enough to rival a mattress, or change your body to lift what is normally two times your capabilities.

Fullbringer Ability: Bringer Sight
Description: Anyone with enough reiryoku can generally sense and track down people who exude reiatsu. This ability of course changes in effectiveness not only through pure power but also by race. Fullbringers are no exception to this rule and have devised their own unique way to track down specific individuals. By manipulating their eyes Fullbringers can actually begin to see the souls which lurk within objects. This vision is rather clouded with how many souls exist within the world, but the interactions between souls leave imprints. Fullbringers focusing in on these imprints can see literal footprints where none might actually exist. This often looks rather odd to anyone looking at the Fullbringer as they will stare down and follow things which don't appear to be there. It also makes it hard for the Fullbringer to see much that isn't an imprint of a soul.

Fullbringer Ability: Bringer Light - Level 1
Description: The first flicker of Bringer Light brings with it new heights. That statement is quite literal as the first stage of Bringer Light allows Fullbringers to quickly manipulate the ground beneath them to become elastic enough for incredible jumps. While this is already possible through Full Manifestation Art, this allows it the user to do it without focus and more as a secondary instinct. This ability also allows Fullbringers a fairer playing field with other spiritually inclined races as it gives them the ability to walk upon the air with utter ease.

Fullbringer Ability: Power Transference
Description: Fullbringers, due to their odd nature, can actually transfer their powers. This can be incrementally or completely, but does have some requirements. The receiver of the power must either be another Fullbringer or a Substitute Shinigami who is born from a Shinigami parent. This allows Fullbringers the unique option to abandon their powers completely if they so choose. I'll expand upon power transference stuff in another place.

Fullbringer Ability: Full Manifestation Art - Level 3
Description: This is the strongest form of soul manipulation. A fullbringer at this stage is incredibly in-tune with the souls of objects. At this stage a fullbringer could pick up a rock and make it eject specific minerals held inside, change an object's state of matter, or manipulate their body beyond human standards.

Fullbringer Ability: Bringer Ignite
Description: This move was discovered by an oaf who truly could not understand how to use their Bringer Light. It effectively began to overload around him and after many months of fail attempts he finally discovered something semi-interesting. A Fullbringer  can use the basic techniques which allow them to create Bringer Light in the first place all across the air surrounding them. By then taking a breath and effectively drawing that Bringer Light into yourself you can reinforce it with reiatsu and give it a physical form. The user can then eject it almost in the form of a lightning bolt. Not quite as fast as a bala, but faster than a Cero. The user can then detonate this current using a unique personal method, whether it be snapping their fingers or clapping. Upon that trigger, the bolt of Bringer Light ignites and explodes in a small circle outwards with great force.
