What are Bount?




The Bount are a race of people whom were originally designed to be a elixir of youth, but instead of an elixir the creator was gifted with an immortal being. The Bount’s immortality is believed to be a product of Soul Absorption as they have no Soul of their own; however a Bount will stop aging the moment they devour a human soul, likewise the body of the Bount will naturally stop aging at Twenty Five by this time the Bount must absorb a Soul and in doing so the Bount will lose their ability to reproduce.

The Noin Raven


After the massacre of their people the Original Bount’s dedicated their immortal lives to creating a path for the Bount’s to move into the future, and to do this they plunged their people into the shadows and travelled along many paths that range from being Nomads to living amongst the North American Native tribes, however those were mere inspirations… the Bount are indeed like the native tribes but their closeness and demand for loyalty amongst one each other is like that of the Organized Crime Families.

The Noin Raven is the name of one of the Bount’s loyal familiars and the name of the Bount’s Cover operation that the Old Bloods have built into a mighty empire from the shadows of society! The Noin Raven has its wings stretched over nearly every influential politician and large corporation in the world and with this power of theirs the Noin Raven has managed to secure nearly every Red Light District in every continent; so that their Bount Children will have a place considered to be tainted and dark by society but a place filled with light, so that they may hide in plain sight.

The Noin Raven is a organized crime group, and of done so it required the help of a large amount of immortals; the Noin Raven is the Clan’s of the Bount and the Bount are the Noin Raven there are 13 Tribes within the order; each Tribe is headed by a chief and each chief is responsible for their own ‘family’ or seated members and the Bount of the world at large.

The Bount [Noin Raven] creed states that there are three promises they must remain loyal to:
Never Compromise the Bount Tribe or the Noin Raven.
Never let your hunger control you

Never over harvest human souls [over harvesting causes accelerated aging]
Never become an avenger

Do not seek revenge on those that have wronged us. [The Noin Raven achieve revenge as one entity]



Dolls:

A Doll is a Bounts equivalent of a Zanpakuto unlike the Zanpakuto the Doll isn’t sealed in just a sword, it can be sealed in normal every day items ( a ring, ball, etc…) When a doll is released it takes a physical form and has a more outgoing personality that Zanpakuto spirits. Dolls are self-sufficient when they are released, and can easily be resealed, it has also been shown that Dolls cannot be killed instead they become re-sealed, but if the Meister loses his or her life the Doll ceases to move and will destroy itself. A doll and its Meister are always connected mentally so even separating the two may not work, and as a last note every Bount releases their Doll with the same phrase: Zeige Dich.


Spirit Particle Absorption: While not capable of manipulating spiritual energy like the Shinigami or Quincy can, Bount are able to absorb energy in the atmosphere to heal themselves to gradually increase their physical strength and their dolls might. This also allows a Bount to replace an entire limb over the time 10 seconds while weaker wounds are healed within 5 seconds. The absorption can also be used on a Doll within battle (if a Bount’s doll is destroyed there is only 1 way to revive it.) however Bount’s may not move while absorbing spirit particles.



Soul Absorption: Bount’s are creatures that feed on the Souls of other races [Humans, Shinigami’s and Hollows] when the soul of a spirit is absorbed the Bount undergoes the same process of Spiritual Energy Absorption. The Bount’s also happen to believe that absorbing these souls are the key to their immortality however this has yet to be tested [however a Bount will gain 10% of another players XP if they absorb them]. The final notice about Soul Absorption is the Bount will unlock a set of skills that have been placed in a category named: Empowerment.

NOTE:[Soul Absorption can be used on NPC’s however Bount will not gain Empowerment from a NPC. The abuse of over eating has been known to age Bount’s.]

Empowerment:
A Bount is a creature that is the fusion of Human and Shinigami genes and because of this the Bount’s do not have souls, and because of this the Bount’s gained the ability to absorb the souls of other races; however whenever a Bount absorbs his first soul of either a Human, Shinigami, or Hollow they unlock an ability known simply as Empowerment. Empowerment is a special ability that the Bount gains from the soul and depending on the ability it may fall on the lines of either Enhancement, Transmutation, Conjuration, Manipulation.
Enhancement: An ability that falls into Enhancement usually fortifies an object or person, the person may also be the actual Bount or his or her doll.

Transmutation: An ability that falls into Transmutation usually mimics or changes the properties of an item or thing. [Ex: Reishi would mimic lighting in a certain area.]

Conjuration: An ability that falls into Conjuration will be able to create a physical, independent, material object out of one's energy.

Manipulation: An ability that falls into Manipulation will be able to move and control Living and Non-living things in a certain way. [Note: There may be certain conditions or restrictions for Manipulation abilities.]





Name: Immortal Body
Rank Required: Leech
Description: A Passive technique that all Bount obtain at this level because you are a Bount your body is stronger than that of a normal human and thanks to this when it comes to brawling your attacks are now more solid [weak] and your speed is increased allowing you to move a total of 16 meters and jump 50 meters into the air. Happy Brawling

Name: Immortal Body lvl 2
Rank Required: Young Legend
Description: A passive technique that all Bount obtain at this level. Time is always on your side and with it your body is bound to grow and with immortal body lvl 2 you have unlocked a beast that can never be re-sealed! Each normal attack weighs in as a medium and those legs of yours can quickly carry you to a distance of 31 meters along with enough jumping power to touch heights of 100 meters with an additional double jump of 50meters. Enjoy the view from up there.

Name: Immortal Soul
Rank Required: Soul Eater
Description: A passive technique utilized by all Bount. Once unlocked the Bount will realize that their body is experiencing less fatigue as their techniques and raw power are now easier to perform without dragging down the actual power [mediums take weak amount of energy] the other aspect of Immortal Soul is that the Bount becomes more resistant to offensive energies bringing their level down by 1

Name: Immortal Soul lvl 2
Rank Required: Aspiring Elder
Description: A passive technique utilized by all Bount. Once you have reached this level you realize that your soulless body has been fortified by your energy meaning that your body is outfitted to take a bit more damage than most [weak attacks do normal damage] on top of that your soul absorption is increased by one level allowing you to heal nasty wounds in a faster amount of time. [Limbs and medium wounds will be healed in five seconds.]

A Senkaimon is a portal that appears when these words are said by the Bount. The portal is like a large picture frame made of stone with beautiful details and the crest of the Bount at the top.

Mache sogleich das Tor fuer unsere Bounto auf! – “Open at once the gate for our Bounts.” This allows the Bount's souls to pass through the senkaimon. Alone it takes a Bount five post to create the portal and must own a Battu for non-Bounts to enter. In order for the portal to open faster, [1 post] it needs a quincy arrow to be shot through the portal even so a Battu is still required for non-bount’s.

Their Past


The Bount’s came to be when a Shinigami scientist by the name of Franz whom was most afraid of dying; his life before his after life was nothing more than him hunting for the fountain of youth and other mythological creations that would stop him from losing his life after all he was a scientist. A man whose research was developing a way to utilize the human souls strength. Quincy were just coming to flourish more in Germany and their numbers only grew but thanks to Doctor Franz the Quincy numbers would decrease as he hunted the men and women of the cloth and dug into their very DNA to understand.

The result of the Doctor's work would result not in him creating a potion or some kind of bath full of youth reviving juices, but a young girl and boy… the first Bount and Doll. The doctor was so ecstatic about his creations that he didn’t realize the taboo he committed. The idea of a immortal human was against the law of the balance and with time the Doctor created more, toying with these humans; humans who held the genes of Shinigami but had human blood and flesh though the Bount were stronger than the normal humans and their souls were untraceable and this left the doctor confused but he was not the type of man to think his creation of perfection was… not so perfect.

The Doctor thought he created the perfect existence and to show his superiority to the other members of the 12th division and the Kido corps, so he bravely decided to hold a showing of how the Bount children would react once they were put on earth and how they would react when they encountered a hollow. The committee sat still for an entire hour only to be horrified as hollows of the controlled experiment murdered half of the young Bount’s and littered the streets with their blood. The Doctor was completely stunned at their weakness, but Franz just could not accept that his children could do nothing and released his captured humans into the controlled zone.

The streets of this distant city hidden in the woodlands of Germany was the location where the first human soul was devoured by a Bount; once the other Old Bloods [5 of the original Bount’s] did this the ones below them known as the Beta-Generation followed suit and instead of Bount blood what soon painted the roads were the remains of Hollows and Humans whom had their souls stolen for the Bount to survive.

Franz was detained the moment the mind-controlled Hollows killed a small Bount child; however it was when the members of the Stealth Force apprehended his Zanpakuto which kept the Hollows under control that the Hollows were able to start a true conflict and equal the battle strength of the Bount!

High Officials were given a visual of the situation and the men could only see a battle of monsters… abominations, it was decided immediately that the entire city would be purged! The Kidou Corp’s was sent with a small team of Shinigami to perform burials; however the moment the Bount were killed they simply faded… it was a long night and every Beta was wiped from the earth, but the 4 Old Bloods managed to slip out of the city with the help of the Beta’s covering them.

The Research and Development team was sent with a group of Stealth Force agents to raid the Doctors private quarters where he kept his information on the Bount, however the 5 Old Bloods had made it to the shack on the outskirts of the city and destroyed the place after:
Taking the information of the Bount’s body’s and secrets, along with designs for Bount Technology.
Setting the building to explode and release a chain-reaction which will spread their kind like a beam of light all over the world and Soul Society.

Once the Shinigami stepped through the door of the facility just that would happen, they would witness a huge explosion and a beam of light; however it was determined that the beam was a Reishi weapon the Doctor had been working on for years.

The Old Bloods have built an empire in the shadows of society and have their hands wrapped around the strings of nearly half of the influential politicians and larger corporations in the world; operating under the name: The Noin Raven. The Bount’s are now at peace and remain under the radar, as the Shinigami have no idea that they have managed to exist to this day. The Bount have found ways for their people to continue to grow and keep their culture alive while remaining tighter than any family. Though the Bount have their hands in Organized Crime they remain classy and loyal to each other as family is all one really has when their lives will never time out.

Description: You are a powerful combatant, but there's no need to let your oblivious opponent know that. Bounts who are skilled in Covert Assault focus on downplaying their strength until they need it most, quickly surprising and overwhelming an opponent before they know what hit them. A Covert Assault beginner can lower the strength of their attacks by one strength level for one turn, and then unleash a single surprise attack one level higher than their normal strength the next turn. Afterwards, this ability goes into cooldown for two turns.

They can also lower the strength of their attacks by one strength level for one turn, and then unleash three surprise attacks one level higher than their normal strength the next turn. Afterwards, this ability goes into cooldown for two turns. However, what truly makes a Covert Assault Master deadly is a devious trick they have perfected over the years, known amongst Bounts as 'Überfall' (lit. 'Raid'); If a Bount manages to successfully attack an opponent in the first turn of a battle, they will do so with full strength (strong damage). This can only be used once per thread.

Espionage is what you are fine-tuned to do, and as a beginner in the art, you gain the ability 'Nachbild' (lit. "Afterimage"). You are already undetectable by most radars and senses, but this newfound ability renders you undetectable to the eye, as long as you're within a shadow larger than your own, or a large group of people. You also gain an extra meter of movement while using Nachbild, but only to your regular movement. Be careful, young Leech, as exiting the shadows or standing apart from a large group renders your newfound skill useless for one turn.

You can now exit the shadows or a large group for one turn without the skill failing, but you must return to a shadow or large group before the turn ends. Description: To a Bount, the shadows aren't your ally; They're your home. You were born in them, raised in them. Espionage is what you are fine-tuned to do, and as a Master in the art, your mastery of the ability 'Nachbild' (lit. "Afterimage") has reached its fullest potential. You can now exit the shadows or a large group for two turns without the skill failing, but you must return to a shadow or large group before the second turn ends; You must also avoid doing anything outside of moving like an average human, or your skill will fail. You also gain three extra meters of movement while using Nachbild, but only to your regular movement. However, using Nachbild this way is child's play to you now, and less than useful to one of your stature. Your Nachbild now has a more sinister purpose; So long as you look (by clothing) the same as another from a different race and stick within 5 meters of someone of that race at all times, your Nachbild becomes 'Schatten Nachbild' (lit. "Shadow Afterimage"), allowing you to quite literally impersonate a different race. You can't copy reiatsu, however, and that's why you stick close to whomever you must; Once you move 5 meters away from your mark, the skill fails, and you can only use it once per thread.

As a Child of Night, you are so well acquainted with reiatsu that you can recognize the ebb and flow of reishi in others; You can tell when an opponent is charging or cooling down from powers of weak strength or lower. The ebb and flow of shadow and light have also taught you to flow and coexist alongside the natural reishi in the world even better; Much like your natural elusiveness to detection by normal means, you gain the ability to use weak attacks without being detectable by any normal means (spirit radars, masteries).

You're powerful, but it is not your way to relish in apparent glory; Your power comes from the darkness that you have become one with. As a Lord of Night, you are so well acquainted with reiatsu that you can recognize the ebb and flow of reishi in others; You can tell when an opponent is charging or cooling down from any power. The ebb and flow of shadow and light have also taught you to flow and coexist alongside the natural reishi in the world even better; Much like your natural elusiveness to detection by normal means, you gain the ability to use strong attacks without being detectable by any normal means (spirit radars, masteries). So great has your mastery of the shadows that you gain an ability revered amongst humankind as a trademark among 'Vampires'; While you are in a shadow, you can become one with it, thereby becoming temporarily undetectable and untouchable for a 10 seconds; An ability Bounts refer to as 'Shattenwirken' (lit. "Shadow Weaving"). While in this state, you cannot be tracked by any means whatsoever, and you cannot be touched on the same note. You also cannot touch others, however. You may only use this ability once per thread.
