Name: Human
Average Height: 180 cm
Average Weight (Earth Gravity): 80 kg
Culture: Highly dependent on income level and region, but most Humans are Xenophobic pack creatures. Instincts drive them to work together in favor of future cooperation. This and several biological advantages have resulted in the Humans becoming by far the dominant species on their homeworld of Earth.

Biology: Each human possesses a head, with the majority of their sensory organs located within. Their vision lies between 400 and 700 nm, limiting their ability to see in dark environments. Bipedal locomotion grants high efficiency, without great speed. A pair of arms, ending in hands with 5 fingers each (one an opposable thumb) allows them to manipulate tools. A high rate of reproduction compared to civilized species ensures that these people have an ample stock of soldiers and factory workers.

Accon Prediction of Dominance: 12%

Name: Dijok
Average Height: 160 cm
Average Weight (Earth Gravity): 90 kg
Culture: Dependent upon Clan group. Due to territorial, and biological reasons the Dijok have for many generations practiced sustainable inbreeding. Keeping their lands and materials within a tight knit family group has prevented domination through integration, but this has also kept them from becoming an unstoppable force. Exposure to Alien civilizations has seen some cracks in the nominally steeled walls between clans, but if they find themselves incapable of banding together in a meaningful way they are unlikely to win this contest.

Biology: Like most creatures, the head houses the brain and most sensory functions. The Dijok have a comparatively broad chest, well lined with muscle and redundant organs. Two large arms sprout from each side of the torso, ending in sizable, 3 fingered grasping fingers. The lack of fine control is made up for by a second pair of arms coming from the mid-chest area. The second set of arms are similarly 3 fingered, but show a great deal more dexterity than their lifting counterparts. A pair of legs allow for bipedal locomotion.

Accon Predicition of Dominance: 2%

Name: Keanar
Average Height: 200 cm
Average Weight (Earth Gravity): 120 kg
Culture: Until they were uplifted by our intervention nearly the entire Keanar race was enslaved by the Lantiid. Neither race seems willing or able to acknowledge that they are biologically identical, akin to the difference between an Germanic Human and a Slavic Human. These years of slavery and targeted breeding have resulted in entirely separate cultures, ideals, body structure and attitudes between the two groups. Probability of the Keanar becoming the dominant race in the games was initially placed at .0004%. However, with their new and entirely unexpected alliance to the Human Confederacy the Keanar have actually managed to seize territory, and stabilize a front line.

Biology: The Keanar are a quadrupedal people with extremely developed musculature, likely from hundreds of generations of working in various mines, farms, and other manual labor intensive fields. Biologically they are no less capable than their Lantiid cousins, but thanks to societal and educational gaps the average Keanar is a dimwit in comparison.

Accon Predicition of Dominance: 2%

Name: Lantiid
Average Height: 170 cm
Average Weight (Earth Gravity): 80 kg
Culture: The Lantiid are a warrior society, with a disproportionately high number serving directly in their armed forces. Labor, farming, and even a good chunk of their industry has historically been run by the Keanari slaves. However, with the recent rebellion, combined with a rash of reprisals against ones still in service to the Lantiid, and concern over the Keanar having control over their industry the Lantiid government is seeing a severe drop in production. Could their failure to quickly suppress this rebellion result in the fall of the Lantiid Empire? Originally predicted to be the dominate species in these games, the Lantiid have since lagged behind greatly, can they recover?

Biology: Quadrupedal just like their Keanar cousins, the Lantiid are extremely physically weak in comparison. Years of breeding and focus upon traits more useful in modern combat have seen a drop in muscle mass, and rapid gain in the ability to complete complex mathematics. The Lantiid remain one of the most deadly fighting forces in the games, being able to calculate firing solutions with minimal computer assistance.

Accon Predicition of Dominance: 6%

To begin with all characters will be Human. However, Alien NPCs will be made available throughout the game and I will also eventually be opening them up for player characters.

Additionally, the listed Species are only those known to Confederate forces. There are many more, and many worse in the sector.
