((Greetings, fellow RPers! Welcome to the backstory of Lyle Bloom, a vampire-werewolf hybrid. He spent most of his life with a werewolf pack that taught him the values and laws of a werewolf and their pack. At the beginning of each post, at the top, you will either see a word (like pride or courage) or a law (like "trust in the pack") at the top in bold and in larger letters than the rest of the post. That is the value or law that Lyle learns in the post. It might go in chronological order, it might not. Eliza will appear frequently in the story since she's Lyle's little sister. I hope you enjoy his story! ))

((This is a character guide of sorts, just to keep track of the members of Lyle's pack, his family, his friends, and his enemies (and for the fun of it ). They will be written in order of appearance, starting with Lyle himself.))Lyle Bloom- A vampire-werewolf hybrid that cares for his younger sister, Eliza, while trying to be a valuable asset to his pack. He learns and lives the laws and values of the pack while growing up to be a strong leader and coming to understand what it truly means to be part of the pack. Eliza Bloom- The younger, vampire-werewolf hybrid sister of Lyle. While she is quick on her feet and a quick thinker, she is also quick to judge and good at holding grudges. She's spirited and brave, and wants to be like her older brother, who she admires. Ezekiel Scar- The former Prince of Clubs that turned into a werewolf and faked his death to get away from his abusive father. His voice was permanently damaged in by one of his father's torture machines- and so was his view of his worth. Sigrid Jorgensen- A werewolf that's been around since the eighteen hundred's. Her mortal-werewolf hybrid daughter's death in childbirth and her mortal husband's death of disease made her cold towards those she doesn't know and trust, but she secretly views the members of her pack as family. Nikola Albus- An ancient werewolf that was blessed with immortality by a faery. He was born in the time of Ancient Greece, and after several mistakes he made due to his quick temper, he learned to control his anger and rose to be a powerful werewolf and a strong leader. Odin Klaus- He was born to loving parents in Norway that were killed by Eve Magna. He was raised by the insane vampire and abused. She finally threw him out to die, but luckily he was rescued by Nikola and his pack. Since then, Odin has a fierce hatred of vampires. He dislikes Lyle but can't help but become friends with spirted little Eliza. Edited by thetotalsimsgeek, Sep 19 2014, 10:50 PM.

Pride Lyle was perched on the tree branch in a crouch, carefully eyeing the ground below him. He was a better hunter than Ezekiel and he was going to prove it. The eight year old boy grinned when we saw a large hare leap into his path. The creature was fast, yes, but Lyle was certain he was faster. Lyle tensed, waiting for the perfect moment, and then he rocketed off the tree branch. He shifted into a wolf midair and landed on top of the hare. It wiggled out of his grasp, leaving a bloody trail behind it. The boy raced after it, and caught and killed it seconds later. He shifted back to human form and grinned as he held the dead animal an arm's length away. He walked quickly back towards where the pack was sleeping that night. He could see Eliza waiting on the edge of camp for him, smiling excitedly. "Hey, hybrid brat!" Lyle heard someone call. He groaned inwardly as he turned to face a redheaded teenager with a permanent scowl on his face. "Yes, Ezekiel?" He sighed. "You caught a hare?" Ezekiel's nasal voice accused. "Yes." Lyle's voice was guarded and cautious. Ezekiel shoved him back with a smirk. "Then give it to me!" "No," Lyle snapped, jumping out of the older boy's reach. His ears picked up on the sound of the other wolves in his pack coming to watch the confrontation. Ezekiel, of course, played the martyr. "Lyle, give me back the hare!" He whined. "You stole it!" "I did not," Lyle countered. "Why are my hands covered in blood and not your's?" "Because you yanked it from my hands!" "Just give him the hare, Lyle," Sigrid sighed. "Childish, you two are." Lyle glared at Ezekiel but handed him the hare. Ezekiel proudly displayed it and marched back towards camp. Everyone followed Ezekiel except for Eliza, Lyle, and Nikola. Eliza started towards her brother, but Nikola shook his head and urged her to go back to camp with Odin. The little girl hesitated, and took off running after the blonde boy. Nikola walked over to Lyle, who was glaring at Ezekiel's back. "Do not be angry," Nikola advised. "Why not?" Lyle countered angrily. "I caught that hare! That was an insult to my pride!" "There is a difference between being proud and prideful," Nikola responded wisely. Lyle glanced at him curiously. "What?" "In a werewolf pack, pride and dignity are respected. However, foolish pride and rudeness are looked down upon. Pride is Ezekiel's major flaw. By having someone younger than him catch the hare was a shot to his pride," Nikola told the young boy before him. "He might seem obnoxious at times, but he is a valuable asset to the pack. Tell me something you admire about him." "He is strong and fast," Lyle said reluctantly. "If it were a race, he would've most likely caught the hare before me." "And I know that he admires your loyalty and wisdom," Nikola replied. Lyle's jaw dropped in shock and Nikola chuckled. "Now, tell me what you have learned." "Pride and dignity are important," Lyle said thoughtfully. "But we must be careful that we don't become too proud." Nikola ruffled Lyle's dark hair and smiled. "Your father would be proud of you." "But not too proud," Lyle joked. Nikola shook his head and chuckled. "Off to camp with you, you little rascal." Lyle grinned at the leader of his pack before he took off running after Eliza and Odin. There Is A Time For Silence… "Run," Lyle's mother urged nervously, pressing Eliza's hand into Lyle's. "Watch out for your little sister, Lyle." The small boy nodded solemnly as Eliza sniffed and tears streamed down her face. "Mommy!" She shrieked as her mother began to run, leading the angry Eve Magna away from her children. "Hush, Eliza," Lyle said quickly. "There is a time for silence and that time is now." "No!" Eliza wailed. "I want Mommy!" Lyle paused. His sister was too small to understand the gravity of the situation. How to get her to be quiet? "Let's play a game," he whispered. "Whoever is quietest wins, alright?" Eliza's tear-filled eyes stared at her brother, and she eventually nodded. "Okay," she mouthed. Lyle almost breathed a sigh of relief, but remember the importance of silence and instead he took off running, leading Eliza away, remaining completely silent. Unlike his very young sister, Lyle understood that being quiet was what could prevent his untimely death. And A Time For Noise "Oh my… Oh my…" Lyle couldn't finish any of the sentences he had started. He was too shocked. He stared at the letter in his hands as a wide grin appeared on his face. "What?" Eliza stared at him worriedly. "What's wrong?" "Nothing." Lyle looked up at her, a wide grin on his face. "Then why are you unable to complete your sentences?" His sister raised an eyebrow. "I got accepted!" Sadie screamed delightedly as she threw open the front door and raced into the house. "That's why," Lyle laughed. "I got into BU!" Jasper yelled, racing towards his friends. "Shit, this is amazing!" "You all got in?" Eliza's jaw dropped. "Yes!" Sadie squealed. Eliza grinned. "I guess they do accept retards, then." "Shut it," Lyle laughed, picking his sister up and spinning her around. Eliza's shrieked in surprise and then laughed. Sadie fluttered off the ground, grinning from ear to ear and Jasper jumped and down on the couch, screaming excitedly. There was a time for silence, but this was not one of them. This was a time for noise. |
