Version 1.0

Section #1 - About CRL

1) Foundation of CRL

From the leagues inception there has been two key factors our league is based upon - fun and respect. This is key to the success of any virtual league. We aim to provide a fun and relaxing community where the drivers are friends first and competitors second.

The fact that our league is built on this and has had the success that it has is very important to us. If we feel that someone isn't respecting that and showing anyone in this league the respect that they deserve then we will not hesitate to remove them from this league. We feel that strong about this.

Our administrative staff tries to respect the drivers to the best of their abilities. If you have an issue please take the steps necessary such as discussing it with our league officials or use the protest instructions listed below. Please do NOT take the matter into your own hands and force us to have to do something that will be good for nobody to have to do such as removing you and/or your team from the league.

If a decision is made by the officials we hope that the person involved will understand and accept. Anyone who can not accept the decision is free to leave or will be removed. We understand our league isn't for everyone and if that's the case we understand. We ask that you leave on good terms to allow you the opportunity to return should you ever change your mind.

2) League Administration

Our administrative staff is what keeps this league running well. Please respect this and be respectful to them as they will try to handle each situation to the best of their abilities. The league officials are:

3) The Rulebook

This rulebook is a set of guidelines to be followed by drivers and teams in order to keep order and control on the track and off of it. It is also a guideline for league officials to have a set penalty for when a procedure is not followed properly or has been disobeyed. This also allows drivers to know what penalties occur for violating those rules.

We as officials reserve the right to make our own decision on any situation that may occur and it may result in a different penalty then what is listed here (or if penalty is not listed we will do our best to come up with a reasonable solution). Each situation may be different though and may require a different penalty then what has been handed out in the past. We will do this primarily based on a driver's past issues in the league or if a penalty was severe enough the first time that everyone in the league should know not to do it and someone still does. We will try to be as fair as possible with each situation that occurs.

We also reserve the right to make any changes to this rulebook as needed. If that is the case the version number at the top of the page will change (Example: A change is made changing it from 1.1 to 1.2) and any updated sections will be listed above as well. An announcement will also be made in the Announcements section of the board.

Section #2 - Requirements for Racing in CRL

1) Registration

All drivers are required to register on the CRL Forum. Anyone who is not signed up on there will not be allowed to race until they are.

Team Owners will also need to use the Team Registration form to register as a team owner. Once you have been accepted. You will have a forum created where you can manage all your team ownership responsibilities.

2) Team Ownership

Teams are allowed to have up to a total 10 drivers per team but only 4 can be used for any one race.

3) Equipment

To compete in CRL you will need a copy of TrackMania Nations Forever. This is a free game on steam and can be found here.

You will also need a suitable internet connection.

4) Car Skins

In order to compete in the season teams must use the same car skin all across the board from the default skins.

Section #3 - Season Info

1) Season Length

Each season will run 6 weeks. With raceday every Saturday, unless officially stated by the CRL.. Each race day will see 4 races. Race day forms are to be completed and handed in no later than 1hr prior to the 1st race time. Failure to do so will result in a DSQ from the race. 3 times of the infraction. Your team will be disbanded and all your drivers will become free agents.

2) Raceday

Each race day will start at 2pm sharp. Those that are not there, will not race. Top 10 places are to be awarded points with the following breakdown:

1st - 25pt
2nd - 18pt
3rd - 15pt
4th - 12pt
5th - 10pt
6th - 8pt
7th - 6pt
8th - 4pt
9th - 2pt
10th - 1pt

And those points will be combined for teams for the team championship.

3) Server

The CRL will host a server for the race to take place. The server player cap will be based on the number of drivers + 1 spaces for each team as spectators Server and spectators will be passworded. There will also be race referees. Server info can be found on the forums.

3) Practice

There will be a 30 min period before race time for practice. This is entirely up to you if you wish you use it or not. There are no limitations on track space during this time.

4) Tracks

Each seasons race tracks will be known to all team owners prior to each season starting. Thus ensuring plenty of practice time. Race days will be played on one track per day (to be confirmed)

Section #4 - Disciplinary Measures

1) Probation

CRL will use probation when deemed necessary. Probation will occur when a team/driver deliberately breaks a rule such as trying to race when they are told not to, not sending in replays when asked for them, posting inappropriate comments on the board or server. The above listed is not all inclusive.

Probation will vary from one month to the remainder of the season. CRL officials reserve the right to penalize a team/driver depending on the severity of the incident.

If a driver breaks another rule that would normally result in probation, while already on probation, then the driver will be suspended for one week.

2) Suspension

Suspensions will only be given out when probation is not enough or when a penalty is too severe to put a driver on probation. Suspensions will usually be one week. However, CRL officials reserve the right to give longer suspension periods if needed.

During the suspension time a driver will still be allowed to view and post on the board unless decided otherwise by league officials.

3) Removal From The League

CRL reserves the right to deny membership to anyone if we deem necessary. This will be based primarily on a members past reputation and behavior at other leagues or inappropriate behavior while a member of CRL. Unless posted otherwise, the standard ban is 1 month.

After the 1 month ban, the driver in question will be given 1 chance. The driver will be placed on probation for 1 month and if suspended again will be removed permanently.

4) Cheating

Anyone caught cheating will be removed from CRL immediately. Cheating is a serious offense and will result in a lifetime ban from the league. In addition, if a driver is found to have been cheating in another league at any point, whether before joining CRL or while still a member, they will be banned permanently as well.
