1. Basic Information

1a) CTGPCL will last 4 weeks, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00EST.

1b) Two awards will be gave at the end of the season, top scorer and best average GP.

1c) You must have a working version of CTGP Revolution v1.01.0000. You may not use any other version.

1d) Music hacks (brstms), textures hacks, item textures, and character textures are allowed for all competitions held on this site. However, you may not use any other Custom track you have downloaded.

1e) You must play at least 16 GPs to be able to win the average award.

1f) Placement for future seasons are determined by performance in prior seasons.

2. Signing Up

2a) In the off-season, there will be a sign up thread you can post in to join for the following season. You must follow all the criteria in the thread though to be considered for entry.

2b) If a current season is going on you may post in the Player Sign Ups forum. If somebody drops out during the season, you will then replace them.

3. Basic Match Rules

3a) If you miss a match, you will be given 50 points for the entire 3GPs. 15 for a single GP

3b) Trolling, aka going backwards to try to screw up other players, is banned and you will be disqualified if you try it, as this is an individual league and there is no purpose at all to do it.

3c) Intentionally glitching a track will result in a 100 point deduction. A 2nd offense will be a disqualification.

4. Disconnections

4a) If a player gets d/c'd in the first or during the 2nd race, the player will receive 15 points for the GP.

4b) If a player gets d/c'd after the 2nd race results, during the 3rd race, or after the 3rd race but before the 4th race, they will receive 15 points for the GP unless proven with picture evidence they had a higher score.

4c) If a player gets disconnected during the 4th race, they will show up on the results, so they will receive the amount of points it shows them on the results screen and their points will affect their average.

5. Tracks

5a) Repeating a course that has already been picked will result in a deduction of 20 points to the player who repeated's score.

5b) Picking a Nintendo track (non CT) will result in a 20 point deduction to the person who chose it.

5c) Track penalties must be proven with a video or pics.

5d) No picking ctww banned tracks. This will result in a 50 point deduction to the person who chose it. The banned tracks at the moment include Rezway, Sky Courtyard, and Underground Sky, as well as no Desert Mushroom Ruins since sometimes laps will not count there, as well as GBA Riverside Park as it has position glitch and causes all player to get 1st place items.

6. Glitching

6a) Any use of a glitch that was not intended for the track will be a 50 point penalty.

6b) CTWW definition of a glitch: Throwing yourself off a track to spawn later in a lap, taking a huge risky "shortcut" that sometimes doesn't count a lap cause it's so pro (hint hint, Kinoko Cave), or a move that significantly reduces the time taken to complete a lap and was obviously NOT the intended method. Should something happen by mistake, don't do it twice, and wait for your opposition to catch up.

6c) Unsure tracks sc that are allowed / disallowed:

Volcanic Skyway 3: The cloud shroom corner cutter is allowed.

Kinoko Cave: Everything is allowed EXCEPT the huge cut that leaps from the beginning of the cave to the cannon. (In v1.01, this cut is impossible to get a lap count from.)

N64 Yoshi Valley: The hop that skips the large corner (the corner with the star box on it) is allowed.

Lavaflow Volcano: Mountain climbing is allowed.

Desert Mushroom Ruins: Hopping over the sand to cut a corner directly following the first set of mushrooms is allowed.

Faraway Land: The slightly "aquatic" corner cutter is allowed.

GBA Cheese Land: The jump skip is NOT allowed. It's too easy to get stuck while attempting to use it.

Bowser Jr.'s Fort: Leaping the wall to get into the cannon that usually immediately follows a drop is allowed. Arguably glitchy but doesn't save much time at all and gives the track a nice shroomspot.

Punch City 2: The alternate route through the city (via that unique corner that mysteriously causes a lap count) is NOT allowed. It causes the position tracker to break, putting multiple people into 1st place, affecting items and shells, etc.
