Raiding is a method that uses the World Assembly to gain control of other regions through the delegacy. Raiding only works on regions with no founders (such as feeder or sinker regions) and regions with deleted or inactive founders. Raiding also does not work on regions with non-executive delegates. When we raid we will each create a puppet nation and move those puppets to a jump-point (see Chapter 9), and eventually to the region we want to invade. We will also have all those nations join the WA. Once all of our puppets are in the WA they will endorse a nation that we want to be delegate. This nation is called the pointman, or point to be short. The nation who is pointman is usually someone who can be online during the updates (more on the updates in another lesson). Once we control the region we will eject the native delegate until update so they lose their endorsements and are no longer a threat to us. The pointman will also watch the region to keep defenders from taking the region back. These defenders get ejected. We keep this up for as long as we want to hold the region, or until the pointman has enough influence to password-protect the region. |
