Construction industries are always in full gear to reach their deadline on time. This has resulted in construction companies working overnight on shift basis. Employees working in construction companies are usually hired on contract basis. It is important for construction companies to give health and safety facilities for these workers. In United States the representatives of OSHA, which is the official health and safety agency of the US conducts surprise visits to construction sites for verifying whether proper safety facilities are provided for workers. In many other countries, governments have come up with health and safety regulations for protecting the lives of construction workers.

Those companies that follow the safety norms will have a safe and secure workplace and lesser incidents of workplace accidents that affect employees. A construction company that endeavors to build a multi-storied building should ensure that all materials and the building are up to the standards for the employees to work. A construction worker should know what tools to use and when. Therefore, employer should organize construction safety training for employees. This will prevent employees from injuries and save the company from fighting legal lawsuit for negligence of workplace safety.

If one successfully completes a course on construction safety that means he/she is trained in all the health and safety requirements of a construction industry. Without the skill and knowledge to work safely using technical equipments in workplace, workers can end up in causing injuries and loss to the company. Therefore, it is important to provide construction safety training for employees.
