Social and Plot Threads

Administrator Posts: 8 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Feb 2, 2012	Social and Plot Threads Callnor is going to be set up in a very dynamic world where you the players will have a key role in changing the world and how it works. As we are being quite ambitious with how this is going to work it will be quite staff intensive and as such we have set up two different categories of threads. A plot thread is a thread in which a Chronicler (or higher) is facilitating the story, providing the details and interactions with NPC’s. These threads are considered cannon and the consequences of what you do in them are lasting and may change Callnor’s Global plot! You may only be in 1 plot thread and 1 requested plot thread *see below*. The opposite of a plot thread is a social thread, no staff member is expected to read these nor do they have any obligation to read such threads. The exception is if someone is braking site rules or if a ruling is needed to settle a dispute, such as cases of Godmodding. These scenes are as only as cannon as both characters agree and only counts as a personal cannon, they do not necessarily have to correspond to an actual time that the events in the thread happened. Such a thread is also highly unlikely to make changes to Callnor’s overall plot. Requesting Social Threads There will be some sub forums that will be marked as social, in these specific places you are free to make as many social threads as you want. If you want to make a social thread somewhere else simply ask for permission from a G.Mod or higher and they will tell you if you can do that thread. Please include the reason for the thread and what a predicted outcome is. Requesting Plot Threads This is the fun part! You the players have the power to change this world, at low levels you won’t have much power so maybe changing the whole world is a bit too much but you can have plot threads revolving around the ambitions of your characters. There will be a forum *insert link here* where you can request to get a plot thread for your character however there are some provisos. These threads are not solo, there needs to be at least 2 and preferably 3 characters involved in such a thread so as to include as much of the community as possible. You have to show dedication to your course of action, so provide evidence of your character having aimed for this goal before, Social threads about the subject are expected and including quotes is also a good idea to increase chance of approval.
