- Remington is considered a modern-alternative para-style RP. It is player-assisted, meaning that when asked, players help choose plot, missions, development of said missions, and any other aspect that includes player input. Here at Remington, we highly value your opinions and will listen to all ideas fairly before final decisions are made.
- Rated M for mature. Language and violence, among other things may be included in this setting.
- All characters must be approved by a moderator before play. Please see Applications and Development for instructions on creating a character. As this is a para-style RP, you will be expected to use proper grammar and spelling with the ability to post at least one para per post.
- It is up to you to keep updated on all happenings in Remington. Please refer to the announcement boards often and check for available missions when new missions come up. A post archive will also be provided at your perusal if you wish to keep updated with daily posts.
- Attendance. Please be available to RP twice a week at minimum. Sickness, emergencies, and extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration [ie. death of a family member, internet interruptions, moving, etc]. If you are scheduled to be somewhere else for an extended length of time, or won't be online a particular day/week, please list your absence in the forums! If we don't know you are gone and you disappear for 2+ weeks, you may be placed on the inactive list or removed. Please don't let this happen!
- Participation. All active members will be expected to participate fully in the RP. Participation includes showing up 2+ days a week and posting, being involved in discussions, directing questions and ideas to a moderator [if any].
- Respect. Please treat all players with the same respect and dignity that you expect. No trolling, bashing of other players, or engaging in public ridicule of another player or Moderator. Not everyone is expected to get along, but you are expected to behave in a mature manner.
- If there are disagreements between players or moderators and you wish to have a Moderator look into it, please provide the appropriate logs. State who you are, who was involved, what happened, and any resolution you would like to see. Moderators will look into the matter.
- Have fun!
