The Kingdom of Lumina is the main setting for the initial phase of the roleplay, and is divided into two tiers. The upper tier, which is connected to the lower tier via a short trail through the surrounding woods, is home to Lumina Castle. Majestic in appearance, this impressive structure is home to the royal family who reign over the northern province. The castle is a radiant ivory, with violet accents decorating its towers and bearing the territorial flag. The royal family are well-regarded by the people, as they prioritize the well-being of their citizens above all political affairs. While the King is often occupied with political and business affairs, the Princess (and less frequently, the Queen) may sometimes be found descending into the town to appraise current living circumstances or socialize with the townsfolk. The castle also holds residences for the Knights, stables, an armory, and various towers. The lower tier contains the town, in which the majority of Lumina's citizens reside. The town provides both a quiet, comfortable residential atmosphere as well as a bustling commercial market depending on which roads you traverse. Since Lumina is a relatively big town (and the only castle town on the northern half of the continent), many travelers often pass through it to seek employment or trade their wares. Its appeal lies in the fact that it is very multicultural, with many festivals and celebrations of diversity that are not found as commonly among the other commercial centers. The various businesses that can be found in Lumina include, but are not limited to: The Inn / Tavern: The Apothecary: The Clinic: The Blacksmith: The Cobbler: The Jeweler: |
