In the August 2008 edition of BWB Magazine I found an article stating there was new updates for Lowrance 2007-2008 LCX, LMS, and Global Models. The new Software version is 2.3.0, so if you check your software version and it is not yet 2.3.0, go get the new update. The biggest change is it makes the units capable of taking Platinum Edition of hotmaps which allows: "More than 300 exclusive HD lake maps (high-definition) with up to 1' contours, 3D view, satellite photo overlay and panoramic lake pictures for the most popular US tournament lakes; the most accurate, highly-detailed lake maps available. Plus over 10,000 more lakes throughout 15 regions!" Too bad I have a 2006 LMS-332c. Gonna call Lowrance though and see what they can do for me. |
