As we all know (otherwise most of us wouldn't be here, including me), Evangelion is a rather big topic in the anime world today, while it may not be able to compare or compete with animes like Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece because of their larger fan bases. Evangelion is still pretty big in it's own right though as it is after all one of the most influential anime shows ever made. Because of the nature of the entire series and how it's fan base tends to trend around with false information. So, to avoid confusing everyone here with misinformation, be sure to cite the source from where you got your information from. Also, you can't use Wikipedia as a source, as it's not a very reliable source due to obvious reasons. Also for those who don't know how to cite information. Well, it's just a plain and simple procedure really, all you got to do is be sure to include a link (or links) in your topic somewhere (usually at the end in a section for sources) and give credit to the original source for your information. Easy as one, two, three. Now, you are free to go post whatever new and juicy Eva news you got! ...If you need a template if you are still totally clueless on how to use citations on a forum like this, then snatch this little thing below.
