*Gai was stabbed with the sword, squarely in the left foot, as his eyes shot out of their sockets (Metaphorically).* ... I can't play around anymore. This guy is out to kill me. *Gai clasped his hands together as he kicked the sword out of his foot, ignoring the excruciating pain as he fell...* |

Seijun opened his hand, allowing Gai to wrench the blade away. As he did so, Tsuki-Neji attacked. All seven chains lashed out at once to attack the helpless Gai in mid-air, aiming for seven different points on his body. Forehead, throat, heart, solar plexus, stomach, chest, and the mouth......what's more, each tip of Tsuki-Neji's spearheads was coated in a chakra venom that would block the chakra flow of the limb/area the blade scratched or pierced. |

(*Has been called in.* Ok. I've had a look at the last few posts. Gai grabbing the katana with his feet while spinning that quickly is unlikely, but I'll let it slide. However, grabbing all seven chains like that is highly unlikely for Gai outside of the first gate. I can see why you did it when Seijun did aim only for areas that would kill if they connected, but you'll have to edit your post Gai.) |

(I'll actually have to pay attention now, won't I?) Regaro simply watches the fight and prepares for his own round. |

(Hmm, I would say that I should go back and edit the sword-grabbing bit. I was honestly expecting Seijun to berate me for that, but he used it to send out a lethal Jutsu, so I followed through... However, I doubt that that will be possible, considering how you think that the latter is the one that must be fixed. :/ I just think we should fix the first inconsistency, and not the one that brewed from the first.) |

(So you're just as guilty of plot twisting as me. I just want this fight to last a bit longer; things don't look too good for Gai, anyway.) |

(( Who said anything about twisting? And I'm not the one who's blocking something like T-N with his teeth and ass. I've been out to kill from the start. Gai is frankly too dangerous to Seijun for me to play around with. This is a tourny-based battle. And unlike Ryuumi/Kin, the end won't be questionable if two people on Gai/Seijun's level are going at it. )) |

Seijun pointed the sword at Gai, then fired Tsuki-Neji's chains at point-blank. He was aiming for the throat, heart, solar plexus, mouth, forehead, stomach, and the left lung. At the same time, Seijun moved in as fast as he could to press the advantage, thrusting downwards with the katana at the right lung and the kodachi at Gai's left knee. |

(Hm, I should have known...) FIRST GATE: OPEN!! *Opening the gates was second nature to Gai, and needed very little time to do it. As he did, he noticed the chains coming at him. With quick thinking, Gai kicked the chains out of the way with a full backflip, as they were coming in a straight line. Once he came out of his backflip, Seijun was merely millimeters away from Gai, so all it took was a reflexive thrust of his legs and a grab of the blunt side of the Katana to disable his attack.* Hah! How about- (Knowing you, I'm predicting that your next attack would be to hit me in the left leg with your Kodachi, and thusly will prepare for that.) *Gai looked down at his left knee to see blood spurting from it. It was a deep gash, but the leg was still attached by the biceps, due to their strong foundation. Seeing his leg falling off, however, was not a pretty sight, and as he landed on the ground, he yelped in pain.* ... I don't know words enough to describe this pain... It feels like all I've ever known has been ripped off of me... I cannot help it... I must do something that I've never before done... *Gai made three quick handseals...* |

Seijun twisted his kodachi and slashed outwards, severing the tendons on Gai's left knee that allowed the joint to bend, crippling him at worst, reducing him to a hobble at best. Seijun dropped into his crouching stance again, and actually threw the kodachi with a flick of his wrist at Gai's hands to disrupt his seals. He adjusted his grip on his katana, as Tsuki-Nej's chains recovered and spread out to arc behind Gai and stab him at in a formation on his back. (( One chain to the center of his back, where that red spiral is on the jacket. The other six are attacking the shoulder, middle of the back, and waistline on both sides. )) |

*Gai leaned to one side to dodge the Kodachi, but finished his three hand seals. As the chains neared Gai, he could only smirk as if to say "That won't help". Suddenly, a log appeared in Gai's place, which the chains dug into.* *In a tree far from Seijun, Gai put his hands together as if in prayer* Eight Gates Release. First Gate Opened. *Gai would gradually get more and more intense looking as the gates in his body opened. Gai would stop at Six Gates, open his eyes, and shout* SIXTH GATE: OPEN! *Gai's face was beet-red by this point, and a pillar of chakra surrounded him at this point. He did not need to use his legs; his hands would suffice as a launch. Before Seijun could realize it, Gai was below him, preparing to kick him, HARD, in the chin.* |

(( *saw it coming, hence the tiger crouch* )) He's fast!! Seijun thought. However, due to his Hebigan and his stance, he had enough time to counter.....Gai would've had to lower his own body to hit Seijun's face with a punch, and Seijun had activated his cursed seal while Gai was activating the gates. Seijun used his Shukuchi, a very high speed movement technique that took him to maximum speed with no acceleration, to move backwards out of his crouch, seeming to disappear to Gai. (Not because of his speed; it's because non-doujutsu eyes can't adjust to the sudden change in velocity) Within a setsuna (1/75th of a second) Seijun had Shukuchi'd FORWARD again, using the fact that all of the air resistance had massed at his back to further increase his speed, creating a small cloud of air and dust in his location as Gai arrived, then he spun around, twirling his katana in a semi-circle slash to leave Gai down the middle of his back, appearing behind him almost before Gai felt the pain, a line of slashed earth between them. (Think Asuma's Ougi in UN3.) Tentsuchiheru-ryuu, Watoujutsu: Shinsatsu Kirigetsu. (Soul Killing Mist Slash) |

*Gai felt the pain on his back after a good ten Setsunas (If that is how you pluralize it...) and pushed off the ground with his hands to launch himself in position to kick Seijun with his good leg. This all happened in a fraction of a second.* |

Regaro doesn't even attempt keeping up with Gai, opting to shut his eyes and rest instead. "Perhaps... Perhaps I won't have to fight all three of them..." |

You've got trouble, Tsukuyomi warned. Seijun looked over his shoulder.....AND WHAM. Gai's foot was introduced to the side of Seijun's head. Agony exploded in Seijun's mind; his Oboro Yakushi, the customized helmet he always wore, was all that had saved Seijun from having his cranial structure obliterated. The helmet itself was destroyed beyond use, and knocked from Seijun's head as he went sprawling. Seijun's hair, cut a little shorter so that it resembled Itachi's, spilled out as he rolled to his feet, several meters away from Gai. Close combat...is bad. My Hebigan won't hold out forever.....however, he's using the Celestial Gates....explosive power, but he's humbled by his back and leg injuries, plus the time limit, Seijun thought. If I'm out of his reach.... Six black-feathered wings sprouted from Seijun's back, while he changed his Doujutsu to his Gengan, changing the snake-green irises to a beautiful sky blue. Short claws spread from his fingertips, and as Tsuki-Neji's chains retreated up his sleeve on his right arm, the moon-silver chains twisted and warped, turning a malevolent black before vanishing from sight. Seijun's hair lengthed out again, turning blonde as it stretched to shoulder level, much like Sakon and Ukon's second state. Three stripes met in a triangular shape bewteen his eyes on his face. Seijun gave a mighty heave with his wings, using his Shukuchi technique as well to add power to his legs, and took off high into the sky. |

Regaro opens his eyes again to watch the fight after hearing Gai's kick hit, before simply turning his attention to Zaku. |
