Hiding Among Rocks is a regular technique for Doton user. That just upgrades his speed.Indeed, fusing with earth to not disrupt it's flow and structure while moving through it. Yes, no ? You guys go... -Points at fields.-

I don't mind normal Doton movement. But fusing and phasing is a different matter. If it works like what Kakashi tries to do with his famous Headhunter and you can be dislodged (Sakura vs. Kakashi after the TS) then it's fine. If you're outright joining with the substance, it's not.

Gazille is just able to move through Doton...as in combine it. Something like the headhunter..just...not only the ground.

Oh yeah, he could be dislodged the way Sakura dislodged the ground around Kakashi. (You mean: "Left ? Right ? Behind ? Above ? Below ! -Punch.-, mhh ?) The way he moves through a thin wall for example, though. Someone would have to hit him really fast to dislodge him while he moved through that - also, while you pull a headhunter the ground breaks open...with the movement technique it doesn't - speaking of the earth, not of a headhunter Picture how Lem jumps through a wall and actually does it, if the wall was not really hindering him. While it would appear like a phase, he would just surround him with sheen of Doton to move through the earth - or a bigger wall or the underground with more chakra and longer time, of course.

I just used Headhunter because the movement's part of it; I know Headhunter itself is just the yanking thing.

Since it's a speeded up Doton, which is usually fairly slow, approved.

Repost of the katana, for a more clean environent !

<_<

Arreat Daishô

The two swords are brothers by all means. While the Katana represents the the mountain's base and structure the Wakizashi pictures the sloppy heights and mountain peak; Both are of the same kin, however.

A daishou pair is the traditional set of weapons, custom to samurai.

Duality of Brethren
A simple yet powerful ability. Holding on the Wakizashi, Lem can utilze it's abilities through the Katana. Holding on the Katana, Lem can utilize it's abilites through the Wakizashi. The swords can be sheated for that. As in...If Lem would hold the Wakizashi and the sheated Katana...he could still utilze the Katana's abilites through the Wakizashi.

Earthen Soul
Holding onto the Mountain Cutter Lem gets aware of earth itself. Meaning...he'll be able to tell how many people are standing on the earth is a fifty yard radius. Not actually seeing but he can 'feel' weight and their chakra, the speed they're moving at. The range of that can be extended to up a mile...will take a huge drain of concentrating then and Lem wouldn't be able to trace a whole circle but only a certain direction. This works also if the traced targets bears chakra infused earth on them - as in a muddy remant of a Doton Technique - the heigher the target moves from the ground though, it gets untracable for the 'earthen eyes'. Reaches up to fifty metre's at maximum.

This is less of a sentient notice, more like a 'six sence' for the shinobi to access, translating their sense of perception to the very earth around him.

Earth's Flow
The wielder can draw upon Earth's chakra flow while wielding the Shirosunô. While that is similar to Senjutsu, it doesn't really boost his chakra nor does it give him any kind of transformation abilty. However, earth releated Ninjutsu is easier to cast for the user, drawing upon the chakra in the ground itself - a living force. Also, the user can infuse his frame with the earten chakra to the same effect of a Genjutsu breaking kai, even if he cannot reach his hands for a seal.

Quote:

Shirosunô no Kuroishi - White Snow covering Dark Stone
Weapon genre: Sharp
Weapon type: Katana
Material: Wood, Steel...however, believed to sustain from the mountain's core itself, yet appears like a mastercrafted Katana, a fine work that a blacksmith puts a lifetime of dedication in, forging it.
Size: 2'6".
How is it carried around: Usually, well concealed in a summoning seal resting on the back of Lem's palm, following the usual weapon summoning, once called upon, it's worn together with the wakizashi in the sash of Lem's belt.

Supplementary Abilities or those of Passivity

The Mountain Cutter is naturally favouring the element of earth and can be used as medium to apply a vary of techniques related to that stony element, the sword itself granting a great controll over the smoothering element, it's origin and conncetion to the mountain granted.

The weapons grants a small up to the user's strength, a passive bonus with an active enhancement that utilizes chakra, however.

Hade - Flash
Utilizing a summoning seal, the sword appears in the users hands, whereas they can decide to draw it sheated, unsheated, backhanded and forward pointing, it's a fast movement summonig and quite usefull battle. Can be used to make the weapon fly towards the user, also, as if the weapon was raised by ghostly hands.

Abilities

Shinsei - Recreation
By connecting to the ground in any way and focussing on the blade, projecting the strength of Arreat itself in the blade, the user can draw up earth and stone, to seemingly reform the blade if it sustained damage or broke. Low to moderate cost, depending on the level of damage.

Burizado - Blizzard
By pointing the blade at opposition, the blade disolves into hundreds of tiny shards that storm forward to cut with the force of a barrage of Shuriken into the opponent, the frame of the missiles can range from senbon needle like projectiles, up to fist sized rocks or little sharp rock splinters. While focusissing on his opponent, the frame can be altered and the rock particles can be ordered to follows the oppnent, taking a huge toll on the user's concentration, though. Moderate chakra cost, low drain if they're used to chase after a target.

Sakujô - Tendrils
The katana firmly held in either of his hands, the user can channel their Doton in the weapon, creating a one to three tendrils of mud that shoot out to capture an opponents limbs or waist, wrapping tighlty around them and then eventually hardening out. Can be used to impale, as well. Low cost, Low drain.

Shikumu - Forge
Utilizing their chakra within the blade, using form alteration to make the blade shoot forward, prolonging itself but still keeping the same level of density and hardness, shooting fast and like a pitch of lighting like steel to impale an opponent, within that techique, the blade can extend in smaller tendrils to point at the sides, reaching further to the side, however, not as strong and sharp as the original impaling shot, reaching about a distance of ten metres. Low activation, Low extra payemnt for extending sidearms.

Môkeru - Create
Piercing a certain spot and place, the user can utilze a gush of mud to head from the blade to 'swallow' the stabbed body part, encasing it and wrapping it in tight skin of stone, pulling opponents down, making it harder for them to move or just restricting their movement. Low cost. Low add up of the first wave is hardenend.

Earth-based Abilities

Touching the ground, it can either harden it to massive stone plates or muddy, sandy terrain, just like the user may chose it and applies chakra, the more terrain they wants to modify, the more chakra has to be utilized.

Piercing liquid based beings, like humans, the sword can slowly dry them out as well. Whereas that would perhaps result in turning that wounded place into stone and mud, that translates to muscles hardening and drying out, the liquid in the cells dried out by the smoothering, sucking up, Doton. Should it pierce a part of the human body, it will cause the muscles to harden over time, not dramatically but the longer it's kept in the wound, the longer it'll render the target's mobility useless, making the stabbed place grow hard, like hard muscles that are pulling it together, actually cramping the flesh so hard and forcing that body reaction that is both painful and slows down.

At a low chakra cost, the strength can be posted to a high level for a short moment.

At the very epitome of earth's features and the elemental stubbornness, the blade is not literally unbreakable, able to stand against the row of those legendary swords, such weapons as the "Dragonfly Cutter" and the "Grass Cutter Long Sword."

Shirosunô no Kumojoukuu- White Snow gracing Cloudy Sky Height
Weapon genre: Sharp.
Weapon type: Wakizashi
Material: As the Katana.
Size: 1'7"
How is it carried around: As the Katana.
Appearance: A katana of modest design, the blade gleams in the purest white, however.
Amount: 1
Abilities: More to come.

Well, what can it actually do ?

As the katana follows the theme of black earth and founding the mountain's base, the wakizashi resembles, as the smaller-framed weapon, it's top; Covered in brightly shining layers of white snow.

Channeling chakra through the length of it's blade, the user can fragment and release tiny little fragments of white 'snow'. This is actually a miniscule object, like a snow-flake itselt; controlling them either with his hand or partially with his mind. They are invisible to the naked eye, can harden out in the same way as steel molecules, however. Forcing an iron-tigh defense or attack mechanism, the 'Shikkyaku Shirosunô' - Falling White Snow. The term of snow is actually just symbolic, the fragments do hold no relation to actual snow, but the reflective abilites when gleamed with sunlight in a certain degree.

Forcing the blade to change form while utilizing form manipulation, the user can have the frame of swirling snow assume different shapes:

Kakuhan - Whip
He unleashes a powerful whip-like attack from his sword, making it look like a projectile attack at high speeds, striking down like a snake.

Tobari - Curtain
He shapes the blade of his sword into a fan-like blade and strikes against his opponent.

Kabe - Wall
He forms a solid wall to block any of his opponent's attacks, being reflective to energy this wall is hardly crushed, even by the wake of Raiton blasts or piercing shots of Katon. It holds about a tad more than an Earth Wall.

All the three form manipulation attacks have a respective chakra cost, of course. Being a low drain for the two and moderate to high cost for the wall.

Furthermore, the general abilities of the snow.

Kumeitate: Fluffy as a Cloud
Intead of flexing when cut, the form manipulation of the blades unique type of Doton would let an opponents weapon pass through them, breaking up on the molecular level to let the weapon wake through, withoung suffering the cut, after realignin itself, like a zipper, to put it colloquially.

Slender cuts and skillful stab will do little good against this technique.

Hanshashiro - Reflection of White
Out in the light, this fast moving technique easily creates flickers in the air and can be utilized to blind opponents that are not careful.

Môkeru - Create:

How does one remove the earth if afflicted, and how long will it cling to them?

Kabe - Wall:

So what exactly IS the limit to the attacks it can block? Raiton is the best piercer, Fuuton the best slasher, so what level of attack of those would be required to get through, respectively.

Kumeitate:

Just to clarify, the molecular deconstruction applies only to the blade, and not Lem himself?

Everything else seems in order.

Certainly, we do lack a mulitquote button.

By doing stuff to is...moving fast, channeling Raiton through them. Something creative, knocking it off with a kunai.

It's weak to slicin', I feel. So Heavy C's or B's of Fuuton will bloke it, otherwise A-Ranks, or B-Ranks that excel in piercing.

Of course.
