As the title depicts, I decided I'd like to do a Thread where people could lay down a general feel for how your nation/organization works:

What technological era are you in?

How does your military operate?

Government (if there is one)?

General freedoms/restrictions your citizens/wage-slaves/peasants face in day to day life?

The Tallarian Empire is slightly old-tech (reminiscent of 60-70's era America)

Armed Forces: much of it's military can be seen as inferior to a "modern" (2000-2010) country's considering it's older arsenal as well as its lack of major armored vehicles. However it thrives on the fact they have very in-depth knowledge of much of the country as well as constantly planning for urban warfare in it's own growing cities it is primarily a defensive force consisting of citizens of all walks of life as military service is compulsory, they rely on guerrilla warfare and hit-and-run tactics. Insurgencies tend to either thrive or be quelled quickly because of this experience

Average Lifestyle: Once again, considering it's older technologies much of the empire is considerd behind the times in terms of fashion and various goods (electrical, mechanical and otherwise). However the military and government tend to have some possession of these (especially computers and internet connections). These are primarily used to coordinate foreign aid or diplomacy in terms of politics whereas on for the military primarily to organize logistics and training. crime is kept relatively low by vigilant watch of both citizens and law-enforcement

Political Stance: The government has shown increasing inclination towards a fascist dictatorship in recent years from it's recent republic democracy, within each passing prime minister gaining more and more power through both legislature and strong-arming major political figures into following his word
