I want spiritual feedback only on this possible demonic evp, that I think is trying to say "I'm going to get you"! I believe that I was born sharing a body with a demon, but I ousted him a few months back, and I think this might be him trying to scare me. See if you can figure out what it is saying:

Quoting limited to 1 levels deep That's true in a mythological sense since the black and white morality practiced by early Christianity forced old gods into becoming either benevolent saints or wicked demons, the only sanctioned grey area being the church endorsed prior folk belief in faeries, being described as the angels who chose no side in the battle between god and lucifer, however I believe most if not all the old gods still exist in their full divinity.

I think demons in whatever capacity they do exist, are distinct from pagan deities.
Technically you are correct, as the demons are in a class of their own, although there is a reason for the word "demonized", as some of the demons came from old cultures, whether they were gods or not.

Thus, they vilified older-cultures. But my point is, most of our words come from older-origins than we realize. It's like the "rule-of-thumb", it originally meant you could spank your wife with anything that was the size of your thumb and no longer or bigger. Words have been jacked-up, such as "demons".

my point is however I don't really understand or believe the precedent of old gods becoming demons in a literal sense, it doesn't make much sense to me. maybe that's hypocritical of me since some gods are considered a verity of Shee, but it just doesn't make much sense to me in context. Christanity and its demons are new kids on the block, calling a pagan deity a demon doesn't make it so.

It's ok. I didn't mean to step on you if I did, I'm sorry. :imsrry: Anyway, I understand how it's confusing, and I will leave it at that.

I'm not offended. I'm slightly confused as to under what context this exists OUTSIDE of the word of the church itself which had a political agenda.

Deamons and Demons are different, Deamons are generally a catch all for spiritual beings where as demons are a specific sort of being from christian mythology.
