I really don't know what kind of Christian my mom is, as she never really shares her beliefs. I think she actually has her own form of Christianity. She is a very sweet, kind, and loving woman, and she realizes that the churches are too powerful and corrupt(just because I've talked to her about it before and I asked her what she thought).

yeah. I get that, my mom is like that (raised Lutheran, doesn't like the church organization) my mom is looking into Celtic Catholicism, though I think she'd be an awesome christo wiccan. (she has a love of nature that just begs for paganism)

Christanity can't work without contradiction. :P Christo Wiccans actually fair better because they know that believing in a certain deity doesn't mean accepting 100% of the bible.

That's a good trait for the Christo-Wiccans. What would a Christo-Wiccan celebrate close to the holidays?

I guess it depends on who they are celebrating with. Like myself, I do plan on celebrating yule privately because I am a pagan, but celebrate Christmas with my family, since they are not :P plus I tend to see christmas as secular anyway.

Have you heard about the time that they tried to make U.S. Government officials work on Christmas, because they seen it as too religious? They ended up deciding that Christmas is a perfectly secular holiday.

of course I thought people were supposed to legally get off religious holidays (that they worship on), but that would take away its government holiday status, so I guess I see why.
