Good morning,

Another cold and rainy day here in Louisiana. Still God is good and His mercy endures forever. I am somewhat aggressive this morning. I have been bombarded with television, radio, and newspaper stories of Muslims and how they hate Israel and America and wish death to Christians. I wish to share a couple of observations regarding Islam and especially Sharia law, or what many in our governmental and even religious arena call ‘extremist’.

First, if the Christian community would share the Koran, Islam’s so-called Bible, we would be shocked and on guard. Nowhere in their writings, leadership or religious literature does it say anything about living peacefully alongside Christianity. America is being duped into believing everything is alright and the very fiber of freedom is being slowly but surely taken away.

Secondly, we live in a time of mamby pamby preachers who will not even preach God’s Word, who will not take a stand against sin, seldom even talk about sin. We must learn that just ignoring any situation will not make it go away. Normally, it only gets worse. This is the case with Islam. If God’s people do not begin to firmly and loudly and without fear of what others might say, stand up for our Christian beliefs, I believe we are facing censoring, judicial prosecution, and government suppression in the coming months.

Christians must stand against those who would threaten their families, their churches and their American freedom of religion. Already we can’t speak of Jesus in government settings, no 10 commandments to guide our judicial buildings, no wearing tee shirts with Jesus on them in schools. Oprah can talk about any ungodly thing over the airwaves, yet many pastors now face trials for speaking out in their churches about such things as homosexual sin, right to life, or same sex marriage.

I know, Pastor’s comments ought to be ‘feel good’ stuff. You are alright and I am alright and everybody is alright and we are all heaven bound, but folks I am burdened in my soul, about the advance of Islam, and the lack of backbone on the part of many Christians.

If ever the church needed to spend more time in prayer, it is now! Well, God bless all. We love you and always, welcome your comments. Just go to our guest page and sign on.. Yours-in-Christ….
