History: The Future
In year XXXX when civilization had reached the peak of technology advancement, mankind was threatened to extinction by the lack of resource. The wind has stopped blowing, the water has stopped flowing, the earth has started rotting and the very life of mother earth itself has started deteriorating. Fears blanketing the soul of men as doom slowly approaching. Gallantly standing in front of the camera, spreading words of encouragement was Doctor Ingus, which video was broadcasted all over the country. It was a droplet of hope in a barren land of despair. The news of some kind of device which can revert the world’s condition back to its former glorious shape was the present he delivered. Mankind rejoiced and abundance fuel of supports was presented. But as the beastly nature of human showed, they did not want to wait any longer, pushing the developers to try the most cherished treasure all at once, even though the development has not reached its final phase yet. This leads to a disaster never once crossed in the mind of men. Right as the lever reached the core of the mechanism activation, the earth started to grumble, electric shockwave fainted those on its way, and a sphere of black blanketed the entire world. With a smile as joyous as those of babies’, and hope held aloft in their mind, mankind cried a spell of faith wishing their planet to be saved and reborn as new and as prosperous as they wished it would.

But it was an unintended amok. Parts of the world was shattered but one, the city where the device is placed at. Glimmers of rainbow danced through the sky presenting a congratulation in the most menacing manner for the chosen ones to live. They smiled, yet they cried, like a battlefield, they had lost their most important comrades.
After that slightly bumpy jump of spaces and time, arrived in the new world was the city of Leviopolis. Tears was overflowing when they saw such treasures stood right in front of them. The soothing breeze of wind, the blue of the azure sky, the gentle green of the forests and the sparkles bouncing on the ever clear waters.

It was not too long, but they did not learn their mistake. Some are too eager with the bliss and jumped hastily to the bequest given by what they thought was the heaven, if it even existed. But impulsiveness always leads to no good. Slings of arrows, exploding blaze and rains of stones slaughtered those men. It was the real inhabitants of the paradise whose defensive instinct believed that they are under some kind of invasion from they-don’t-know-who.

In fears, the modern people retaliated, but was in no intention to murder them. But the said act built even greater distrust from the denizen and forcing them to fall back. It was the burning sense of anger shown in their eyes. And the modern people knew that it was not a good sign, moreover that sort of their way of doing a welcoming party.
Since then, every time the modern people tried to step into the fertile land leaving the machine flooring of their city’s, a battle always took place.

The president of the mechanic city knows very well that if this keeps up, it would not change their fate, and they will suffer the same tragic ending like their comrades had. And no one wanted that to happen. So, in aim of longer survival life, he built an academy for training soldiers. It was mandated that every people aged 15 must enroll and start learning the way of survival in this harsh world where mediation had zero to minus chance of success.
It was years since the policy was created. The modern people lived a better life, even though causalities are still in great numbers. The inevitable amiss of the only working choice. Maybe, this is how they will live their life for the rest of their lifespan. Who knows?

History: The Past
The Continent of Valmai is the only continent in the blue planet which consisted of mostly waters. It was literally a peaceful world with five interesting seasons. One where gigantic bugs would cross the continent, one where the rain never stops, one where mountains would erupt, one where wind never stops blowing and the last one where trees overgrow. The continent was occupied by three races, the witty Barbarians of the forests, the intellectual Magis of the desert and the powerful Giants of the arctic. Every day was a normal casual life with a little spice to them, a little conflict, but overall peaceful. Until one day a black sphere appeared out of nowhere and resided on the center of the continent. Ever since it appeared, the land grumbled and grumbled until finally earthquake strike and split the land into smaller continents and islands. When that happened, the world suddenly grew dark. The blue sky hid itself changing into a night that stayed for far too long. The barbarians thought the flame of light had died, the magis thought a sinister wizard is in work, and the giants thought that evil has beaten the gods. But all of them agreed into one thing, it was not a sign of fortune, it was an omen to destruction.

Each of them was preparing for the worst, cautious with their surrounding, and anticipating what would come out from the black sphere that brought misfortune to them all. The long await finally ended. The night said good bye to them all, and the blue sky came back. The black sphere had vanished, changed into that of shape which they never saw. One that looked really dangerous and hostile, how it stood in front of them giving them eerie chills, as if it was telling them not to come closer. They did as their intuition told them, but it was the sound of steps which made them regain their sense to protect their homeland. Some creatures that looked like their selves showed up. In their eyes, it was a signal to attack. And so they did. The barbarians fired thousand of arrows, the magis casted a whirlpool of flames, and the giants threw countless of big rocks. The creatures were eradicated, but back-ups from inside the humongous fort started coming, marching in groups, and attacked back. It was such a big counter-attack, well delivered, giving even stronger chills to the denizens. With the number of causalities they had no other choice but to fall back. But they promised in their heart that they cannot get away with this. The people who has disturbed the balance of their very peaceful days. They believed that they had to drive them back to their former place.

Since that day, the denizen honed their skills every day, preparing for the big attack they would launch sometime in the next possible chance.
