Within minutes, there is a response. Cassandra is the Mekhet Priscus, if that's what you mean. I only have Henry's information, though. ###-###-####. |

Anyone could have called what happened to Jacky, and what happened at the pool party. But if this is more than just listening to more "predictions", I'll tag along. |

The response to this text is slower, as if Dana is unsure (or angry) about how to proceed. But a response comes, in a single long message instead of the earlier rapid-fire: "Bullshit. You weren't there, but she got J dead-on. Scary on. And I heard one of Harper's guys say he needs to stay away from C. Get me to see her, you can know what she says." |

Suicide after intense trauma is far from uncommon. Regardless, I've never met her, just Henry, and briefly at that. I'm not sure how much pull I have with him, if any. |

Coincidence, nothing more. That's my take, anyway. Then, If you'd like me to. I've spoken to the man once and Cassandra not at all. |

If it's possible for a text message to come across as annoyed, this one does. "Look, ur the only Shadow I know who was here b4 the Winnowing. If it don't work out, whatev, but I gotta try something. He'll respect u more than me, at least." |

There's a slight delay before her next response. I'll let him know. And if you don't think it would bother Harper if I was there, I'll come along too. |

"Ya, sure, I owe u. And if u can press H on Cassandra, even better. C u there." ------- The meeting time rolls around soon enough, finding Dana looking a touch out of place in the upscale environs of the Aria Resort and Casino. Cafe Vettro is one of the only establishments in the building open around the clock, and it's mildly busy with well-dressed tourists and a few shady locals. Crisply fashionable waiters deliver square white plates of American standbys, large steaks and baked potatoes and apologetic salads; one tourist family is giggling with the ridiculousness of ordering Belgian waffles and scrambled eggs this late at night. ![]() Nonetheless, she wanders into the restaurant slightly early, with an easy confidence like she's been here before and expects to be treated courteously. She is offered a window table, shakes her leather coat onto the chair, and sends a group text to Ariadne and Henry. ![]() "Yo, Im by the window, halfway back." Henry arrives shortly after the intended meeting time, making sure to present himself slightly late as the guest. He looks, as usually, fairly refined, wearing a trademark suit and carrying himself with the confidence of a former Ventrue. He walks with purpose directly to where Dana is sitting, making only a simple comment of "Meeting someone, thanks" to the maitre' d cast over his shoulder. He sits down to where Dana is, carefully removing his jacket and placing it on the back of his chair, mirroring Dana. He leaves an empty chair for Ariadne. He rests his elbows on the table, bringing his hands together as he leans in, chair making a slight scraping noise against the floor. "Miss DiTomasso. How good to see you this evening. To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?" His voice is soft, barely casting over the table, hard to hear with the din of the crowd. |

Ariadne slips in shortly after Henry, wearing the same nondescript shirt and pants she always seems to be in. She doesn't even look up at the hostess, instead making a bee-line for the table where Dana and Henry are. Once she slides into the empty chair she almost huddles in it, staring at the tabletop as though she's been here this whole time. |

Dana nods as she sees Henry walk towards her, and she leans back in her chair as he starts to command the table. She responds, "Well, I know we ain't really been properly introduced, but two reasons. First is pretty simple. I hear you're paying to know who all in this place has got the Sight, and if you don't already know, I can tell you about the Brides. Can prove it, too." Ariadne enters at the tail end of the topic, and Dana turns to her as she approaches. "Second, and this is where Ariadne comes in, I need to talk to Casandra. Since she's got you running round town, I guess she don't like to get out much. Ariadne's under your Priscus, so I've got her support for getting me in." |

For the past few moments, Ariadne's been hunched over at the table, looking between Henry and Dana. When Dana finishes speaking, however, the former Shadow's eyes are on her exclusively. "Really." Her head tilts - almost jerks - to one side. "Not what we agreed on. You wanted a meeting. Here it is. That's it." |

Henry eyes the exchange, and seems willing to defuse the situation from growing thorny. He rests his hands flat on the table, and glances over to Dana. "First, I'd be interested in learning about the Brides, and who possesses the Sight. And to what degree they have with the talent. And pending that information, compensation can be in the form of simple boons, money, vitae, or information. I am open to negotiation and suggestions, but I'd need proof, of course. I suppose if there were information as well on Brides who may have lost skills, possessed them before, that could also be worthwhile, though less so." He leans back, removing his hands from the table, dropping them casually to his side as he pulls out a cellular phone. He scans something quickly, before returning his attention to the Bride and the Shadow, phone still in hand. "My Lady doesn't just meet anyone. Nor at the drop of a hat. While I appreciate Miss Shaffer's presence, I don't tend to put anyone into immediate contact with my Lady without a pretty damn good reason. So, what do you have for me, Miss DiTomosso, that you can try to convince me that I should put you into contact with her? I'm not unreasonable, just... protective." |

Dana meets Ariadne's glance with a bit of surprise, her mouth slightly open, her hand slightly extended in a gesture that could be interpreted as "What the hell?" She seems like she's going to say something when Henry starts to speak.
She sighs. "Alright, fine, I'm just gonna lay it out on the table," as she places her hands where Henry just had his. "I overheard some shady motherfuckers say Harper needs to stay away from 'Your Lady,' because 'who knows what he'd do.'" She punctuates the last parts with air quotes before bringing her hands back down. "Now you may not know this, but I kinda got an interest in keeping Prince Bastard around a while. What she said last time, about Jacky, was spot on. I gotta know if she's got any breakthroughs or whatever on Owen." The use of the Prince's first name slips out of her almost involuntarily, and she seems to realize the possible faux pas. "Now, I don't know what you want out of me to get that. I am the only game in town if you want the Bride info, though." |

What she said last time, about Jacky, was spot on. I gotta know if she's got any breakthroughs or whatever on Owen." Henry is slightly bemused or annoyed, but when the concept of individuals wanting to keep Harper and Cassandra separated comes up, he's intrigued. He wraps his fingers together, resting his phone on the table. "Information on the Brides and who possesses the Sight, while worthwhile, is not enough to secure a meeting. Unless you all have significant talent with it. I'm talking about the ability to read minds. It is enough to perhaps secure you some... insight, however." He closes his eyes for a moment, concentrating on something. He then opens his eyes again, an intense stare that is subsumed with calm, as Henry is genial once more. "The closest thing I can offer you on our illustrious Prince is that.... one of his followers, a man named Quentin.... fell into torpor in some sort of... conflict a while back. He's waking up soon. And he's not going to be pleased about it. He was not important before, but will be briefly. He should not underestimate him. That's the information I can offer you now. In exchange for the Brides datapoint." ForDana His hands flip to the phone, which he scans quickly as he has received a text. He looks quizzically at it, before looking back at Dana. "Now.... who wanted to keep the Prince away from my lady? And why would they want to do that? Harper's trying his damndest to find her, woudl be mighty curious to know who wants to stop that." |

Dana, in turn, looks a little annoyed at Henry's condescending tone, but her expression goes surprised when Quentin's name is brought up. "Shit, yeah, that's... that's about right. So that motherfucker is gonna be pissed... makes sense." She shakes her head, stretching her neck out. "That's what I'm looking for, that kind of stuff. And I ain't gonna stand you up. Tasha used to have Sight all the way up to the Touch, but she lost it all when she came through here. Me, I got it, or figured it out, in the last couple of months. I can get halos most of the time, see the little stuff pretty much all the time." She focuses on Henry for a bit (OOC: 4 Successes for Aura Perception) as she's explaining the abilities of her covenant. "So I'm not the first one?" she says, trying to keep her voice neutral. "Alright, let's say I know who's trying to keep them separated? What's that worth to you?" |

Despite receiving the information he desired, Henry makes no motion towards the phone at all. He murmurs slightly at hearing about the Brides, cataloging the information internally. He gives a nod. "Thank you for the trade. I know we may seem difficult, but we understand the value of our insight, and want to be sure we're dealing with serious individuals. Too many Kindred have tried to learn things with false information, or just violent demands. It ends... poorly for all parties." (Feel free to solicit info about his Aura if you'd like) He leans back, reviewing the Shadow and the Savage in front of him, resting a finger near his temple for a moment. He then orders a drink, apparently stalling for a second while he considers. When the waitress has left, he murmurs again. "Hmmm.... see, now this is a troublesome issue. I can't tell you what it is worth, unless I learn something unique and new. If it's as simple as saying that Zoe wants to keep them apart, well, there is little I can offer you. If it's something more.... delightful... then I would of course compensate." He casts a friendly smile. For all his airs of pretentiousness or smug self-assurance, there is something friendly about the man. "I'm a man of deals, I wouldn't back out on that. But if we're talking some rank neonate like Frannie Pepperwood or Paulo Marino then it may not be a real issue. Neonate? Ancilla? Elder?" |

(Looking for Greed, Generosity, Jealousy, and Amusement. Generally, a sense of how much she can get out of him for the info)
"I mean, I get it. Intel ain't exactly like a bike, you can't kick the tires when you're driving it off the lot to see if it stands up. Hard to tell if you get ripped off, and if you do, it's harder to do something about it."
Dana allows herself a bit of a smirk. "Elder, and I won't give you guesses 'cause it ain't anyone you're seeing at Elysium." She looks at Ariadne, seems to consider something for a bit, but waits for Henry's response. |

(Greed - Yes. Generosity - No. Jealousy - slightly flared at the new information. Amusement - Definitely - vibrant and more potent than the others. He's enjoying this.)
Henry is intrigued by the new news. He takes a moment to look around the room, scanning the crowd of Kine for some sort of behavior. He then takes more than a few moments reviewing the two Kindred in front of him. Both realize he's reviewing their auras. He maintains this gaze on Dana as he responds to her. "An elder who doesn't spend time at gatherings is an unusual prospect. Most of them died in the Winnowing, or came afterwards explicitly to harness their power. If they aren't a visible player, then they are trying something more discrete? Unusual for this city. Depending on the identity, I will fulfill something significant." "So, Miss DiTomasso, do you want information regarding the unusual gathering that the Sheriff is going to ask you and your friends to attend, or would you prefer to have insight into the mental state of Ash Wednesday and your friend Miss Labeaux?" He offers no context for these insights, instead waiting for a name. |
