HAHA!! Talk to Pwaf!! he rocks!! What do you want to know mate? If you want to tech, its cultist nades two gens and on to T3. Against necs, you can HB tech but if you have the time, Sorceror and a couple of squads of zerks work wonders. Raptors are s**t - one jump so can only be used in certain circumstances. Chaos can be run around the map in a Rhino much like SM, althoguh I dont tend to use this strat, pwaf uses it very effectively so i should try and start using it. I tend to be late with vehicles as horros can pretty much pwn anything that comes out - they are fast to build and very flexible to drop them anywhere on the battlefield. If you can be more secific mate let me know. |

i know t3 psm and obs look so tasty... dont be fooled mate. never straight tech with chaos, its so tempting because you can do it so fast. (tbh dont straight tech with any race lol) even if you straight tech and win and most of your allys nearly get killed trying to hold out while your busy teching, the games not fun for anyone. i would rather lose with a chaos player that builds units in T1 an T2, than win with a chaos techer ![]() always go CL at start! weather you want to (like pred said ) go HB's which is a good T1 tactic, or go Zerks (or both) horrors are great! always go CL for a good all round base to start things. in many aspects they are very similar to SM, (HB's = SM mass. Zerks(sorc) = GK(chap). cults(invis) = scout(invis))... any of them by themself is risky (SM or Chaos) you must agree. but to start by getting Commander = CL. it gives you a good start to see what your enemys (and allys) are gonna do, and from that basis go a BO wich will suit the situation best. AHMEN! and remember 'Never straight T3 tech!' (well at least not with me ^_^) oh and if you go HB's get the grenades in T2 work wonders!.... they stop enemys in there tracks. thumbs Edited by Scope, Dec 7 2009, 01:32 PM.

Remain flexible, imo is the success to SM, chaos no so different. The advantages to chaos is energy is less important so you can always pump out a pred in t2 before going t3. If you use zerks you have to use a sorc with chains. the hardest chaos players to 1v1 are those that challenge you in every tier. Don't invest too much in early tier's though. If your opponent opens up on an early tier push in t1 with CSM ,tier2 upgrade your csm with hvb and get a rhino when you can. if your opponent is good challenge and tech you will almost always be the first to t3 and have a good chance to win there. |
