Cascade does NOT tolerate rule breakers. Be sure to read all of the rules. We know it's a big box of text, but it's vital that you read and comprehend the rules. If you have any questions about them, please feel free to ask our staff.

Rule I - No Spamming

Spamming is where you post irrelevant things on a topic or simply post an unreasonable amount. This makes the forums messy and will lower your reputation. If you do this consistently you will get warned once then either suspended or banned depending on how sever it was.

Rule II - No Flaming

Flaming isn't tolerated by many, and definitely not by us. Flaming is when you continuously disrespect someone, causing arguments to break out and general disorder to occur. Flaming will result in the Cascade Staff lodging a big boot in your buttocks, and placing a "Bantard" cap on your head. If someone is flaming you, harassing you, or causing you any unnecessary levels of stress, be sure not to retaliate but instead to report it to the staff. We promise to take care of the Bantard in a timely manner.

Rule III - No Flame Baiting

Flame baiting is laying out the bait to encourage people to start arguments. Flame baiting is often subtle, and a lot less obvious then the throwing of curse words back and forth. This is why we dislike flame baiting even more than regular flaming - you're making attempts not to get caught. Bantards who flame bait shall be given their proper time in The Abyss along with everyone else who breaks rules.

Rule IV - Following Rules I-III in RuneScape / on Other RuneScape Forums

What you say and do on other forums and in game directly reflects on Cascade. In case you did not already know this, the word "veneracio" is Latin for honor, and we take that very seriously. Anyone who acts disrespectfully while under the banner of is liable to be banned.

Rule V - No Bantard Evading

If you have become a Bantard, you will not be able to access the IRC chatroom, and will only be able to access The Abyss section on the forum. If you evade these bans, you will be banned permanently. If it is a matter of IP evasion, Invisionfree or SwftIRC Operators may be contacted.

Rule VI - Stay Active

Being active is a big, big part of Cascade. To be considered "Active" in Cascade, we expect you to post multiple times on a daily basis. If you start not to post without informing the staff of why you cannot post, you will be booted from the clan. There are no exceptions. If you are actually reading this and have read all of the rules up to this point, please write "Cascade stands for Honor, and so do I." on the dotted line at the end of your application. Of course, staying active doesn't mean going out and spamming up the forums! Try to make thoughtful and contributive posts. Even if you don't post alot, if we see you trying to make good posts, there is a very small chance that you will be kicked.

Activity also applies to attending events in game and taking part in our IRC chat room. We feel it is not asking too much to require that you attend at least 1 event a week, and that you stay in #veneratio on IRC while you play RuneScape. If we feel that you have started to become inactive, you will be given a warning, and then booted from the clan.

Rule VII - Keep it PG-13

Anyone age 13 or older is allowed to legally play RuneScape, and often there are people under the age of 13. Keep your language mild, and do not post images that are too suggestive or pornographic in nature. We want this to be a safe community for everyone to enjoy.

Rule VIII - Follow the Forum Specific Rules

Particular forums here will have their own particular rules in addition to those already posted here. Be sure to read and understand those rules before posting in that particular forum.

Rule X - Link Responsibility

Do not link people on this forum to other websites that have malicious intent, or content that is otherwise inappropriate for this forum. Make sure to check out other websites before you link people to them.

Note: Each individual case of rule breaking will be handled separately. If you are caught breaking the rules, you will automatically be banned for at least a day while the staff discuss how long the ban should last. A topic about why you have been banned should be up in less than 24 hours.
