Hi Have you found any good minis to represent "Battle Maidens" or "Kitsune"? I've been looking around and found the reaperminis items above, who do carry a very good female character, but they're very expensive at over $6 each and there seems to be only 1 model. I've not found anything to represent a Kitsune at all yet. |

Just found these two, but they are also expensive.. ![]() and ![]() from bombshell miniatures http://bombshell-miniatures.highwire.com/ They would certainly make nice battle Maidens. Old glory has some in their samurai wars line, I think, And there are lots in the old Clan wars lines, I think, but I guess they are only available second hand? |

For anyone who's interested, I've just picked up some models from Perry Miniatures to add to my Wargames Factory troops. I've written an "Unboxing" article on my blog to add to the ones I wrote for the Wargames Factory range: http://wargames-wasteland.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/unboxing-perry-miniatures-samurai.html Cheers |

Yes, they are. similarly priced are the products at Bushido / GCT also lovely ![]() ![]() +++++ I don't know how any of those above will fit size wise. As I posted on Battle Reporter, I do have some of these Old Glory figs and will post comparison pics in the next few days. ![]() http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ZSW-15 ![]() http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/proddetail.asp?prod=ZSW-16 |

Hi again! I've written another small article on my blog about collecting models for a "Nippon" army. This time, I'm starting to look at more "Monstery" troops, the Daemonic "Oni"! You'll find it here: http://wargames-wasteland.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/unboxing-oni-night-haunter.html Cheers! |

Does anyone know a miniature of a cherry blossem tree. I was searching for it. it would be nice if I could combine it with this http://www.plastcraftgames.com/es/fukei-designed-for-kensei/625-torii.html. It is 120mm high so I'm also not sure how tall my tree should be. Greetz, Marky |

they appear to make them for model railroading. that set seems expensive. I think they are also on ebay a better price for 20.. which means you could field your own terrain.. or this one on ebay. There appears to be a qualitative difference between the two products that is reflected in the price. Not sure it justifies the huge price increase for the 2 pack over the 20 pack but it might. If you are thinking of using this for army based terrain, or an objecive marker, I would think the cheaper would suffice well, but if this is decoration for a unit, or perhaps a counts as for a Kami, or ir the Shrine, the more expensive ones might suit you better. I will probably buy the 20pack.. Edited by kokigami-sama, Jun 14 2013, 12:23 AM.

EM 4 has a small line of samurai. It includes a Ninja, A Female, and a Shugenja. They also come prepainted, which can be a bonus, or liability, depending on your views on such things. The problem for the anti prepaint people is the selection appears to be a subset of the painted figs. prepainted ![]() ![]() unpainted same models better pics of painted individuals. |

I noticed that you included 1/72 = 25 mm ranges in your list, although the Warhammer scale is somewhere between 1/64 = 28 mm and 1/56 = 32 mm, isn't it? In case there are people who play the Warhammer Armies of the 9th age in the slightly amaller size (maybe because they order their troops to do double duty for Zvezda's «Samurai Battles»), here is a tiny manufacturer of great Asian metal figures in 1/72: DT Models Kopp & Mahlendorf - Thomas Lauble - Hausacher Straße 1 77709 Wolfach GERMANY Tel. +49 (0)7834) 869753/...54 Fax +49 (0)7834 869755 "Thomas Lauble" <info (with) Kopp-Mahlendorf.de> http://www.Kopp-Mahlendorf.de Note that the address above is not the miniature company's address, but a company producing heating elements, because Mr. Lauble has not yet quit his day job. In order to take a look at the nice Chinese, Korean and feudal Japanese mini warriors, navigate to ... http://www.Hagen-Miniatures.de/index.php/en/produkte/category/view/184 I am in no way associated with the man or either company, but the more choices and different poses, the better. Thank you for your attention and have a great day. :-) |
