The Impervius Charm (Impervius) is the incantation of a spell used to prevent a substance being affected by another to some degree. It is said that the Latin impervius means (and is the source of) "impervious"; although it is the source of the word, it is better translated as impassable, as in a mountain peak. "Impervious" is itself an English word, however, meaning "impenentrable, incapable of being influenced". Homework Please perform this spell on your familiar (your pet) and then place then in water. Describe to me what happened. |
