Welcome everyone to the Character RPG, Ardanian Adventures. This page is where the rules and regulations for this game will be posted. As time goes on, these will adapt and change depending on the game's environment. I have divided up the rules into related categories so they will be easier to read.

Character Creation Rules

  1. Only one character per player
  2. Character names can not be offensive; contain random numbers, letters, or symbols; Share the same name as another player's character.
(Further details about Character creation will be given in the "Character Creation" thread)


This game is D & D style, though it is not turn-based, it is governed by dice rolls when it comes to combat and skill usage.
Character Playing Rules

  1. No god-modding (you have only one character, and he/she can not necessarily see, hear, or otherwise know everything that other characters know, see, or hear)
  2. During combat, Dice rolls determine if an attack or other action is successful, player must wait until Dice Rolls are calculated before being able to do another action.
  3. In Combat, each character by default has one normal action (moving, attacking, defending) and one special action (casting a spell, activating a skill) per round. (Character stats, abilities and skills may change that)
  4. Skill Usage: There are some skills that can be used outside of combat, and a character can use as many of these skills as he able. However, each skill has a limited number of usages and will not recharge for a day.



I am going to utilize the AiO Shop in this game, so in order to purchase or trade items you must have logged into the AiO system.
Purchasing, Selling, and Trading Items

  1. A player can purchase as many items as he has the money for, however there are some items that are limited to one per player, so please read the item's description
  2. A player can sell the items in his possession at any time for any price he deems fit, if an item sold had a "one-per-player" rule or other similar rules, it still applies.
  3. A player must in-game publicly share that he is trading items with another player, their characters' surroundings environment and proximity of other characters will determine if non-trading characters are aware of the trades in-character. As above, any items with "one-per-player" or similar rules still apply.



Finally as moderator, I will be controlling the events, NPCs, and enemies that your characters will encounter.

If you have any questions or concerns about these rules please post below, and as I said these rules will probably change as this game grows and evolves.

I have an idea for 3 new races, maybe. One is Centtaur, you know the classic half human half horse. The Naga, more prominent in Hindu and Asian mythology which is half human half snake, and the classic Orc/Troll or whatever.

I plan on expanding the game in terms of classes and races as each storyline is completed. In fact the main bad-guy in this story line is of a different race than what players can play. the storyline will be over once the bad guy is defeated, and his race will be added, as well as another race and two classes.
