Today in news Goldecias Goudadam council and the sports ministry have announced plans to build a brand new athletics athletics and cycling park. The government have announced plans to build a 2.3 Billion Goldecian pounds athletics park. The park would have an indoor arena , a 80,000 seat athletics stadium and a Velodrome and state of the art swimming pool. The park would be called Royal Games Park.The government have said "we hope to build the park in two years and get a generation involved in sports and bring many games to our great country. We want to invest in a sporting future for goldecia which at present has no significant facilities for international events and having a park already will mean we are ready for any events. " It is understood they wish to create a games call "Kingdom Games" at the park which would involve Kingdoms competing against each other in athletics , swimming and cycling , they plan to bid for the Imperian Games and the World Games. On top of this the park would annually host the Goldecian Games which would involve sports clubs across the country competing annually and be a training base for Team Goldecia.There will be a viewing tower with views of Goudadam.There will be an Opening Games in 2 years time if no major international event is present. IOC: For the kingdom games yes.For the world games or imperian games no.Anything like world athletics championships and world swimming etc would be open to all.

Today Goldecia declared 6 months in that the Royal Games Park is on schedule so far. The government said "we are proud to have got this far. We will be putting out the tenders for sponsorship of the stadiums stands and the individual venues names soon. Anyone interested should contact us." The government have announced the Athletics stadium, Aquatics centre, Velodrome, Multi-use arena and basketball arena will be put up for sponsorship. |
