Right. I'm gonna list all my Senate/GA insights here for my convenience. Comments, questions, welcome.

On RP Regions: I don't think that RP regions should be blamed for inactivity and I highly believe that the issue with RP-based senators and perhaps even residents not being active is exactly that. They are RPers and I don't think the Senate should expect us to have a critical opinion at all the times on various issues and be zealously productive on stuff. I know I don't post support/opposition to stuff, but I will do that starting from now on.

On the status of RP Regions: Next. Treating RP regions as secondary regions or associate partners is offensive to me. As far as I can see, the Commonwealth is not a politically-centered union of regions. That's one purpose, but that's not everything this union is, so to exclude the RP regions from everything the union has after being approved by the senate will be vehemently opposed to this. I'd be fine with the status quo as it is, but seeing that RP regions will still be RP regions, I will support a compromise that neither takes away all our political rights or maintains it as it is now. Furthermore, I do not think the Senate is an elitist club, as it represents the citizens of regions which elected them in the first place, therefore, to have the same citizens working alongside the senate is utterly stupid and contradictory to the election of the senators in the first place.

On the General Assembly: I honestly think the GA is a waste of time and space. I like the concept of having he GA as a direct democracy organ, but in my view, it does not represent the "masses", it represents only politics-oriented individuals who hold no senate seats and thus is entirely useless. We might as well give five senators to each region instead of having the GA. I will fully support the dissolution and absorption of the GA into the Senate as a lobbying body but with separate discussion subforums on the Senate forum and no vote, only discussion and access privileges as a lobbying body of representatives. For the GA to really live up to its name, I believe it needs more people contributing and not just the usual faces, and to do this, we need public information campaigns and community level talks between regional leaders and regional citizens. My unwavering opposition to an official bicameral system will remain unless specific circumstances are efficiently addressed.

On the Senate: The Senate is slow and inefficient as it stands now, and the thing I blame for this is paranoia and publicity concerns. Instead of working out compromises between one another, the Senate keeps bending down to get the GA's approval, which, once again I must say, merely an extension of the senate in my view. The Senate should be allowed to work without fear, pressure, or needing to appease the GA and similar situations, therefore all legislative power must be concentrated in the senate and senate alone.

On the Speaker of the General Assembly: My opinion regarding the Deputy General or whatever the GA's presiding officer is called depends on which legislative system the commonwealth implements/will implement. If the status quo or Deckard's proposal is implemented, then I'm all for the creation of the GA's speaker, just as long as they don't have a vote in the Senate. If Lemurian/Battlion's proposal is implemented, then I oppose the establishment of the Speaker as it would serve no use except useless bureaucracy in my opinion.

On Judicial Reform: The High Court should not be responsible for upholding the laws of individual regions. I'm opposed to the High Justice also serving as a Justice on behalf of a region and the expansion of the judicial system with each new member region. I would prefer if all justices were nominated by regions then voted/approved by the senate and the high justice was appointed by the general secretary from a list of nominees compiled by the senate, such a list not including people who already hold justice seats. I would support efforts in detailing the process of impeachment of justices/the high justice and abolition of term limits wholeheartedly.

This is all for now. Will post opinion on stuff once I've read through them, possibly tomorrow.
