Yikes, safe to say the 2007 Hurricane Season is getting more active then what it was last year. First Tropical Storm Erin has soaked Texas to the brim......now we have Dean as a Catagory 4 Hurricane with winds up to 145 MPH. Could stregthen to a Catagory 5 late tonight so that's gonna be BIG trouble for Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and the Yukitan Peninsula as they are in the "cone of probablity" to be hit. |

Badly is an understatement.......it's gonna get demolished. Weather Channel says it has the potential to be a Catagory 5 before it hits Jamaica. |

....What the hell are you looking at me for?

Yeah hurricanes suck... I had to go through Hurricanes Charley in 2004 and Wilma in 2005 so I know how it is to go through them... Hopefully that thing stays away from Florida which so far it seems like it will not be getting anywhere near us and I hope it stays that way. |

Yeesh BZ, both of them must have been an absolute nightmare. Dean won't be smashing into Florida as there is a ridge of low pressure that's forcing the Hurricane to stay on a westerly track in the Caribbean so in the cross hairs is: Jamaica Grand Cayman Yukitan Peninsula Northern Mexico & Southern Texas Dean is getting STRONGER as it's now at 150 MPH and 929 MB.....VERY powerful Catagory 4 and it is expected to continue strengthening to a Catagory 5. (156+ MPH) |
