I was very much into it during middle school when I read the odyssey for the first time. I still enjoy tv programs about it, it's always fun to learn about. |

I don't particularly like Greek Mythology, but when you're coming up with a name for something, Greek or Latin roots are awesome to start off with
I read the Odyssey in 9th grade and it was boring, though I did enjoy some parts of it. |

The Odyssey was awesome! I read it in a book and watched the movie. Scylla and Charibdis were VERY creepy! Also, the whole thing with Circe was fun to watch too. |

I'm not sure if you're specifically talking about the movie 300. Just some quick facts: it's based off a graphic novel (by Frank Miller) which was loosely based off the 300 Spartans, led by King Leonidas, that faught at Battle of Thermopylae to slow down the vast Persian Army during the Persian War. It's more historical than mythological. |

This story makes me laugh every time xD I'm really into Greek and Roman Mythology (which are kinda the same in my mind xD) I have a couple of books on it and a good deal of stories memorized. I wish it was what we talked about in history class but no :( I just put on a play that was loosely based on the story of Cupid and Phyche. |
