Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Raven and Beast...

I am The Question and this is...

THE ANSWER

I do not deny that this will most likely end up being a self-indulgent excuse for making jokes out of my questionable name that long outstay their welcome. I don't doubt that you have figured this out already, but with current power rankings being covered brilliantly by my colleagues, I have decided to go for something a little different here. So you get.. well... whatever this ends up being.

I am unlikely to get through many players in one go and some, unfortunately, have not given us anything to go by, so I will start with those who have most caught my attention. Hopefully this gives the Black Canaries of the world a chance to become the superheroines they were destined to be.

I shall begin with the intriguing Deadpool, who is shockingly even more mysterious than such characters as Mysterio and Mystique. Who exactly is this mercenary dressed in red and black? Is he female, 18 and a US resident just wanting boys to be nice to him like he would have us believe?

It isn't long at all before Deadpool's female gender is thrown into doubt.

3 lines to be exact.

In fact, one begins to question whether he is even human at all.

And let's face it. What kind of American spells favourite with a 'u'? Marvel claims that he is Canadian, and I have little reason to doubt so now. However, those interested in voting for America's Favo(u)rite Player may prefer to look beyond this versatile first timer from the land of maple syrup.

I don't think I will though. His posts so far are fun to read and if what Moon Knight shows us is anything to go by, his drawings are hilarious. While I would love to see more confessional posting to see where his head is at regarding the game, likability goes a long way. Despite slight concerns from Gambit about him staying in character too much, he appears very popular so far and I believe he will do well in the first stage of the game. How he adapts to more strategy-minded players from other tribes is something I'm keen to see.

To be continued.

Oh, more confessional goodness from Deadpool and it's everything I hoped for and more. <3

I could quite easily continue fawning over Deadpool, but there are other players to talk about, other heroes and villains to expose. Sadly, due to Black Canary's lack of appearance, there's not so much to say about her. I was very much hoping that her replacement would come in fighting and take control of the tribe, but it seems that was not to be! So, for this post I shall share my thoughts on my not-very-well-thought-out predicted DC Villains elimination.

If I'm wrong about this and it's actually Red Hood or someone that gets voted out then so be it. I suppose my reason is that I believe Queen Bee can be very persuazzzive, and with Black Manta apparently(?) being sketchy himself, I suspect the others will follow along. Nevertheless, I will be able to enjoy bzzzzing with Queen Bee later. From now my attention shall be devoted to our pizza-hungry friend.

As unpopular as he seems to be elsewhere, I actually kind of like him! His early confessional posting gave off the vibe of someone not taking the game too seriously (I guess he just really wants his pizza!), but then it seemed like he was in a strong position! Wow! Well done mate! I never came to understand why he thought Queen Bee would be able to provide him with something other than honey, and I must have stared at that Two-Face gif a number of times in an attempt to determine what it actually meant, but there's something I love about an unexpectedly strong player. I was hoping Black Manta would fulfill that for me.

It's possible, likely even, that I am misguided and that Black Manta can be the power player I want him to be, but if he's not and is getting voted out, then I will say that I enjoyed his brief time in the game and found his confessional refreshingly different. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the pizza girl though, who haunts me with her loose top and swaying bottom on both confessional pages. :P

Based on what we're getting from the confessionals, I believe that Queen Bee would likely rank second only to Deadpool when it comes to players I would most desperately want to ally with in-game. Yep, I would be just another member of Deadpool's posse and would most likely allow myself to be seduced by the drawings and requests to touch my boobs against all better judgement. However, as much as this thread is really just a poorly disguised Deadpool Fan Club, Queen Bee izzzz still amazzzing and I will now focus my attention on her, with perhaps only the occasional Deadpool sidetrack.

I can understand why players aren't tripping over each other to kneel before Queen Bee and her bzzzing. I can even understand why players would find it a turn-off. I guess though that I'm into that kind of thing and would be bzzzzing right alongside her. Oh and her confessional! I don't know why, but I love the self-importance, the heightened sense of her own successzzzz.

And that teachable moment thread!!! It's so perfect. It's got attitude, it's got sass, and when it comes down to it is damn fine string of confessional posts, all tied off so wonderfully too. BEE HONEST KIDS!

I do worry for her long-term safety in the game, but I know she has it in her to get what she wants (with the Black Manta vote being a fine example) so I can only hope that she maintains her activity and continues being her bzzztastic self.

I would also like to remark on how perfectly Queen Bee's name, avatar and confessional fit together. It's fantazzztic!

Why you gotta bee that way?

Well when I asked myself, The Question, 'To bee, or not to bee?' I decided that beeing was by far the better option. Don't you agree?

(I hope Queen Bee hasn't already used that one. I haven't read her confessional as in-depth as I would have liked).

So, heroes and villains, I have some time to kill, and I thought why not make a horribly innacurate power rankings post? Rankings will be sorted by what I perceive to be the player's current power within the tribe, but I will also provide winner prediction rankings for each tribe, and then a top 5 overall at the end.

Corona

This tribe seems like lots of fun compared to the seemingly more serious Penumbra tribe. There's no doubt that attending two tribal councils in a row will have had something to do with this, but I can't help but wonder if a personality such as Queen Bee's would have found itself much more at home with those on Corona. As for who's on top, well Deadpool and Starfire are the clear front-runners and I'm sure this is no surprise to anyone.

Long-term ranking: 2nd

With the patchy confessional posting across almost all of Corona, it's difficult to determine who actually has the most power and there easily could be new opinions that have formed (Starfire promises updates, for example) that change things. However, I have put Deadpool here merely due to having a larger number of devoted followers than Starfire has. Deadpool has Moon Knight, Rocket Raccoon, Wolverine, Storm and Gambit all considering him their No. 1 as of their last confessional post, with only Gambit showing any significant caution there. While confessionals from the DC side of things have been extremely limited, I have little reason to believe that he hasn't made a good impression there.

Even though I would love for Deadpool to win the game, my long-term ranking of 2nd from Corona is largely because of Starfire. She recognises the threat that Deadpool poses and the one consequence of his lovable reputation is that it could additionally label him to others as a threat. I am not as worried about this as I was previously though, for a few reasons.

1. The extent of his connections may well be getting to the stage where players become convinced that they are his closest ally, even in the face of some evidence to the contrary.
2. He is taking a very laid back approach to alliances, with even Starfire describing him as carefree. I actually think this works well to minimise the extent to which other players see him as a threat.
3. While I can't really tell how much he sees Starfire as the threat she is, he does appear to trust players such as Moon Knight, Rocket Raccoon and Wolverine more than those from DC (as he should).

Long-term ranking: 1st

If Deadpool has the most power on Corona, there's no way Starfire doesn't come in second. If not for Deadpool's extreme popularity, she would fairly easily be first as she has acquired an impressive following of her own. Zatanna and Wonder Woman make up her minions, with Deadpool, Rorschach, Moon Knight and Rocket Raccoon all seeking alliances with her. Rocket Raccoon in particular appears very taken with her. While this isn't enough to give her the current spot, I suspect from her confessional that this may be her desire. While this could potentially backfire if Deadpool becomes so popular that he can't be touched, I have ranked Starfire the most likely to win from Corona (and also the most likely to win from the whole game) due to the extra levels of thought put into her confessional posts, and the keen perception she displays. Particularly impressive are her early thoughts on Deadpool and her desire for him to look like the one controlling things. While my prediction is that things will go well for Starfire, there are potential downfalls. One is her dismissal of Deadpool as easily manipulated. While this may be true for Rocket Raccon, who has seemed to take Starfire as his second-closest ally without much consideration for where her priorities would lie, Deadpool seems to be viewing their alliance as merely something beneficial for him, just as she is.

Long-Term Ranking: 5th

It's really fun watching Rocket Raccoon play. While his confessional may make him appear somewhat naive, it's pretty hard not to smile when reading his posts. I see his current power in the tribe as pretty decent, as he is in an alliance with Starfire and Deadpool. While Moon Knight could potentially take this spot depending on Starfire's reaction to their alliance, Rocket Raccoon is certainly doing well and unless drama occurs is safe for a long time yet. However, while Deadpool and Starfire both have webs extending beyond the cute raccoon, Rocket Raccoon is very enthusiastic about it. This is part of why I have his long-term ranking so low. While I could see him making it far in the game, it doesn't look as if he would do so without Deadpool or Starfire. If they did end up having priorities elsewhere, I am also uncertain as to whether he would recognise it. Nonetheless, he is one of my favourite players in the game, so I hope he is not as naive as he appears to be and becomes more of a contender, in my mind at least.

Long-Term Ranking: 4th

Both rankings are probably quite interchangeable with those for Rocket Raccoon. I am making an assumption with this that Zatanna and Starfire have been receptive to him as would make sense from his confessional, but it's possible they only feel indifferent towards him, which would quell his power a fair bit. Much of his power, however, comes from his strong connection to Deadpool, who I suspect may consider himself closest to Moon Knight? It's hard to say. All in all, he is also playing well and very safe if no major drama occurs. I believe he is more likely to win than Rocket Raccoon as he seems less naive, but this could merely be a product of confessional style alone and not especially relevant.

Long-Term Ranking: 3rd

My impression of Zatanna is that while she should be safe for a while yet, she doesn't have a whole lot of power in the tribe right now. She is quite close with Starfire, but Starfire's priorities do not necessarily lie with her, and while she has quite decent connections across most of the tribe, no one seems especially connected to her. Despite this, however, I believe that apart from Starfire and Deadpool she has the most potential to suddenly break out and increase her power, as she has the basic foundations required to do it. I am really eager to see more of what she's thinking.

Long-Term Ranking: 6th

Wonder Woman's power mostly comes from her connection to Starfire imo. It's hard to get a sense of her connections elsewhere due to lack of confessional posting, but she appears to have had a mostly positive reception and so should also be in quite a safe position. However, the lack of mention of her in some confessionals is concerning. I get the impression that she is a decent social player from what little I have been able to glean, but I could easily be wrong.

Long-Term Ranking: 7th

Despite still being fairly low on the list, Wolverine has made many improvements of late and he is in fact a very promising player in my mind. He is among those that Deadpool most trusts and Starfire mentioned an interest in befriending him. Having the two top dogs of the tribe interested in working with him undoubtedly does him some favours and I do wonder whether those slower to update their confessionals will report an improved connection with him. I'm not sure how possible it would be for him to climb higher than he has, as Deadpool seems tight with Rocket Raccoon and Moon Knight, while Starfire likely considers Wonder Woman and Zatanna closest, but I have faith in him. I also like how he has been concerned about a lack of alliances heading his way and the need to up his game.

Long-Term Ranking: 8th

Since we get so little from her confessional, Storm intrigues me, and is largely helped by Deadpool and Rocket Raccoon liking her, and Gambit/Robin/Rorschach being the three least popular on the tribe. I want to see more from her!

Long-Term Ranking: 10th

Some people think he's ok. Others don't seem to care for him. He isn't telling us much apart from something about his man hunk. However, his posting of Deadpool's picture was cool. :) *shrug*

Long-Term Ranking: 9th

I get the impression that everyone is annoyed at him for no particular reason, likely due to Deadpool. If he manages to fix things, he stands a chance, but he never appeared that social to begin with anyway, so how much of a chance he has is uncertain. Hmmm, I feel like he should be higher on this list, but the only player I would put him above at this stage is Robin.

Was looking promising for a while, but appears to have become fairly absent since?

Penumbra tribe stuff will either come soon or later.

With a Loki elimination actually being a legitimate possibility following The Riddler's latest confessional post, I've decided I actually have no idea what's going on on that tribe. Why is Loki being eliminated exactly?

I would have picked Enchantress and Mystique as the targets, with the two of them and Queen Bee being at the bottom, with a Mysterio/Zod/Doom/Riddler alliance controlling things, but that could be all wrong if there's some Loki drama happening.

Overall winner predictions for me would probably look something like:

1. Starfire
2. Deadpool
3. Mysterio

Not sure who the 4th and 5th would be right now.

Loki's being targeted because Enchantress is framing him for the challenge loss.
