Well, Fenrir wrote a good speech that was part of the reason why he won, so I don't see anything weird with that. Though it does mean that I'm probably not going to read them myself, since I'm not actually voting and I can just read the reactions to them instead, which probably will tell as much about the speeches as I need to know. |

I don't get why people feel like they need 5000 words to explain in detail every single vote in the game. That's what the jury questions are for. |

I think it's just the trend that's been happening lately. So people think it's necessary? |

Damn, Mysterio, what a question for Deadpool. I did not like that slippery answer. |

This jury is really making them grovel for it so far. There's no one anyone scores too high on Wonder Woman's system, that 20 points for every game situation just would take more time than is allotted. I thought Wolverine was trying to get the final 2 to pander to him with his question of "who really convinced me to vote Starfire" (oh, you know I think I helped influence you but it's really your great play) but I guess he wasn't

I read both openers. Both are good. Zod's is better and a little more interesting. As far as early game goes, Deadpool had a more interesting early game while Zod tries to overvalue his UTR play of actively not really doing anything. The truth is both strategies got them to where they are. Deadpool's is a little arrogant. He does explain how he played a good game, but this is also your first attempt to butter up the jury and he missed it (though he was still in the dark as to how toxic they are to him). Zod's new title "Bottom of the Alphabet, Top of the Game" also comes across as a little gloaty, but his comment about how he's staying up at night, he's distracted in class or with his friends really resonated with me. The winner of survivor has to be a great game player, a great social force, and lastly a great storyteller, and from my survivor experiences that one line was like "yep, I totally get you." |

It's also hard not to get a little gloaty though, I don't think either are arrogant people or anything, but if you let it get to your head too much it can turn a jury off. |

I have a lot of trouble finding the balance between under- and over-confidence myself. |

Deadpool is taking Wonder Woman's post completely seriously. I could never manage that kind of dedication. |
