They walked around the Carnival looking of something fun to do. They stopped by a ball game. Looking at the prizes, he thought she might enjoy playing. "How about we play this?" He said, pointing at the ball game. |

The woman came to a stop next to Tarrant, giving him a sidewards glance with a sly smile. "You'll have to show me how to play." |

He nodded and they went to the stall. He paid for the man and took a small ball. "The game is for you to take this ball and hit the tower of bottles." He said, pointing at the bottles. "You got three balls. If you knock over all the bottles, you will win a prize. Simple right?" |

"Seems simple enough." Ankoku concurred, eyeing the tower. She had impeccable aim, being able to accurately throw small nut husks at shopkeepers to distract them, whilst Malcolm stole food for the street twins. Smiling slightly at the thought, she nodded, wondering if he wanted to play first to demonstrate. |

He concentrated at the tower and threw it as hard as he can. Although it hit the tower, because he threw it too hard, the ball went through the wall. With his throw, there is only three bottles left. He apologize at the owner and gave the second ball to Ankoku. "Your turn." he told her. |

Taking the ball lightly from Tarrant with delicate, finely-boned fingers, Lust flicked the ball at the bottles quickly, hitting the center of it and causing it to spin, knocking the other two bottles and falling together. Laughing slightly when she realised that all the bottles had fallen, the woman turned to the brunette. "So we... Win a prize?" |

The stall owner nodded and took a rectangular box. Inside is the golden necklace with a gem that match perfectly with Ankoku's eyes. Tarrant smiled as he took the necklace. He waited until Ankoku will turn around so that he can have her wear it. |

A young pinkette traipsed through the excited crowds of the carnival, keeping a low profile amongst the tangle of people. She wasn't really supposed to be here right now, but she really wanted to visit the carnival today. Hopefully her mother would not fret too much... Wide hazelnut eyes looked around, displaying the emotions of awe and wonder like an open book, glassy and clear pools. Hazel could never lie, nor deceive, not that she would ever want to sin in such a betraying way— her eyes were too pure to hide the truth. Tearing a piece of the pink cotton candy she had bought earlier off the stick, the chewed on it thoughtfully, the colour matching her bubblegum attire and hair. It was a pleasantly warm day, enough to merit her wearing the short blouse she most favoured. While walking, the young princess noticed a small boy crying, and a balloon floating away. No parents in sight, the child was obviously distraught, his crying tugging at Hazel's heartstrings. Jogging over, she squatted down on her haunches, pouting lightly. "Hey there little guy, what's wrong~? she frowned in a soft, angelic sweet tone. She was known for being a polite and kind heir, and was favoured among many in the town for her regular and friendly visits. She preferred to be seen as a friend to the people, rather than a haughty, inaccessible royal. The small child looked up at her with watery cerulean eyes, wiping fiercely at the stubborn tears that kept streaming down his cheeks. When Hazel realized he didn't know what to say, she offered him the fluffy stick of wispy cotton-candy. "Here you go lil' man, have some of this. It'll make you feel much better.~ The boy obliged, taking a piece of the sticky confectionery and biting on it tentatively, before stuffing the rest of the irresistibly sweet clump in his mouth. He seemed happier already, mind taken off his missing balloon and parents. Hazel glanced around again, her thinking pout set on her gentle features. "I wonder where his parents could be..." She mused, concerned the the child's well-being. |

The Hungry Spirit
|
Avalon strolls across the carnival to look for some goodies he can buy for himself, but he encounters a little girl with a pink hair colour, Avalon carefully stares at her as she goes by. "Heh... Look at all that meat, just waiting to be carved. Hmhmhmhm." he said to himself in his thoughts while staring at the little girl with his hat covering his shady visage to give it an evil aura surging across the place.

Tucking a loose pink bang back in place, Hazel shuddered as she felt a strong evil aura surge through the place. Stroking the child's hair soothingly whilst she kneeled beside him, the girl noticed a shady individual, a black fedora obscuring his angular features. Could this man be the cause of such an evil aura? She would hate to think wrongly of him, just because he appeared shifty. She was still learning her magic, and hoped that she was only imagining the aura. Suddenly, two people came running over in a hurry, frantically hugging the child. "Oh, Alastair! We thought we'd lost you!" the woman cried, presumably the mother, whilst a taller, darker skinned man stood by, a mix of worry and relief evident on his features. Standing to her full height, Hazel smiled lightly at the couple, reunited with their child who was still holding her cotton candy. "Are you his parents? Thank goodness you found him, I was worried for the poor lil, guy." Stifling a laugh politely, the heir rested a hand on the clasp of her jacket politely, nodding her head as she bobbed in a curtsy. Seemingly in a hurry to go home, having had enough of the carnival's busy aura, the couple thanked her profusely, not recognising who she was, before moving off and away into the swell of people. Turning back to the man she'd seen before, Hazel noticed him still watching her. How creepy... What did he want with her? Edited by Hazel, Dec 9 2013, 07:37 PM.
