Accursed Temptress of Lust

"Why not, we were somewhat interrupted last time." Ankoku nodded, placing her bare hand on his arm, nails painted as red as her cherry lips.

He smiled and they walked around the Carnival. There, they saw a stall with small ducks and fake guns. He smiled at her and said. "Do you know how to play this?" He asked her. |

"I do believe I've seen it played before." she laughed, touch still light and gentle on his offered arm in a feminine lady-like fashion. |

Tarrant smiled and gestured her to take her position. The owner moved out of the way for her to shoot. Little does she knows that the owner has a few tricks in his game. The rubber ducks started to move as Ankoku take position. Tarrant, however, frown feeling something in the wind. |

Ankoku took aim, staring down the nose of the gun with a steady hand, taking a shot, but missing the duck. She'd never be every good with guns— during their thievery days, silence and stealth had been the keys, so she had mastered knives and needles instead. Malcolm had taken care of the ammunition. Pulling back with a sheepish chuckle, she rubbed the back of her neck. "Oh dear, I missed.." |

He chuckled at her bad aim. "It is a bit hard if you are new. Here, let me help you." He lean close to the woman, as he help her aim at the moving ducks. He leaned close to her ear, and whisper in her ear. "Now steady your aim to the target. Try to hold your breath as you aim, to get a better shot. Wait for the right moment before you put the trigger." |

Setting her lips in a grim line as she concentrated, heartbeat quickening slightly as she held her breath. Heart thumping against the inside of her chest, she could feel the slight adrenaline flow, fixing her grip. There were a few moments of stillness, before she pulled the trigger, hitting one of the ducks. Standing upright again, Ankoku smiled. "Thank you for the tips. You're a good aim." |

"So, what did we won?" He asked the keep. The keeper sighed and gave them an all you can eat buffet ticket for two in the Carnival. He took the ticket and wave it at her direction. "We can eat anything we like. So, are you hungry?" He asked her with a warm smile. |

Azrael was sitting on one of the benches that is litered around the carnival. He wat hed as groups of happy people passed by, his atention got locked by a boy who was holding his mother's hand from the right and his father by the left. They seem to be enjoying this a lot.. he thought and wondered how it was like to live a normal happy life like that. He looked away and frowned. That doesn't matter. He thought bitterly and opened his magic book and kept himself busy by reading. |

Laughter seemed to chase the pink-haired girl around wherever she went, a sweet smile on her face as she followed a small group of kids to a candy-floss stand, buying a stick for each of them. Hazel loved seeing other people happy. It made her heart soar and her spirits high to see others smiling and laughing and enjoying themselves. The greatest joy was giving back to her loyal people. Watch the band of children run off, the heir couldn't help but yearn a little for their anonymous style of life, with normal friends, little restrictions and quiet days. As much as she loved serving her people, she wished she could be a little less noticed at time. She could appreciate silence in a world that never stopped talking. The pinkette fixed her cape, and was about to leave the cotton-candy stand, when she saw a young, strangely familiar boy sitting down, pouring over the pages of a magic tome intently. He seemed too stern for the vibe of the carnival, and his aura was so depressed... Buying a pink stick and a blue stick of said confectionary, the girl skipped over, leaning over in front him and offering the blue stick. "Here, I bought a stick too many, and thought you might like it.~" She giggled lightly, tilting her head to one side, the ringlets in her pigtails bouncing. Edited by Hazel, Dec 19 2013, 11:42 PM.
