"Ah. It was crowded indeed. I'm almost thankful that they left but then again..." he said and paused as he sat down. "..there's also a part of me that preferred them to stay for a bit longer to know them better." he finished and smiled sadly at the ground where little ants started to roam around in search of the crumbs of bread that fell. "But I don't do well in crowds." he said as he fixed his cold gaze at the Knight in await of his reply. |

Pierre tilted his head further to the ocean view as the morning dew of the grass shone with it and the summer breeze was blowing through the fields. I've heard you are a good man sire, there is no reason for you to be torn between the extremes of loneliness and crowds. We all have a right to our preferences and choices. |

"You heard? I wonder from whom that might be from.." he said smiled lightly, "It's rare for me to hear such words." he mused as he looked over the ocean. He thought about the Knight's words, We all have a right to our preferences and choices. Indeed, it would be nice if that line would be applicable for him but unfortunately, there's something that is chaining him that makes his situation different from others. Never in history before that a cure for his curse surfaced. A curse that will continuously cause pain to his further descendants. |

Pierre watched the ocean with the King. Both of them lost in thought even deeper than the very trenches of the blue waters. My instincts did. Yet something holds you back.. He said, concerned. Edited by Pierre, Dec 20 2013, 09:18 AM.

The King let out a light laugh and sighed. "Well, If you look back at your history books.. The past Kings of my kingdom all suffered from certain things like disease, lost and such." he said and glanced at the Knight, he fixed his soul piercing orbs on him and asked, "Would you like to hear a story that took place when the First King of the Black Kingdom was crowned?" His voice was eerie and quiet, he was about to tell a story that only few knows for it was considered as a bad omen by others. |

Pierre replied. I'm always eager to learn. He nodded and lent the king his ears. |

"Very well." he said and nodded. He looked back at the ocean and started with a question, "Do you know how this continent was divided into two kingdoms? I assume you know.. This land was called 'Consonance' back then." |

He nodded an continued, "The King and Queen at that time had two candidates to be the next heir ruler of the land. They were Twins.. Nyx and Hemera. Nyx loved the land and worked hard to be picked as the next ruler although he has a cold heart. He judge without considering any emotions. Hemera on the other hand is the opposite, she has a kind heart and a skilled magician." He looked at the Knight and smiled, "Hemera was crowned to be the ruler but.. Nyx was unable to accept it. They battled over the crown. That angered the gods and was sentenced death. Their parents sacrificed their life to save the twins from death and was separated thus, giving birth to the two kingdoms. But that didn't end there.." he paused and there was glint of anger in his eyes as he glared at the ocean. His face darkened as he continued, "Nyx was crowned to be the first King of the black kingdom and was cursed." His hand gripped the end of the arm rest where his arm was resting still. |
