I had to laugh today when I took Inca in for his first bath with me. I just dribbled the water off my fingers onto him so he wouldn't freek out his first time. Once he was wet, he passed out! I swear you could hear him sigh before he fell asleep

LOL......Thats really cool el at least your baby will get in the shower. Gypsy refuses....shes dosnt take showers but she will accept a bath. I say accept because she dosnt bathe she is given a bath, very lazy she is. She loves to get a bath but expects us to do all the work lol while she enjoys the water. Queen Gypsy take a bath I think not lol keep the threads coming I love to here the settling in stories......bye for now

That's cute! They do seem to have a little bit of a "tude" don't they?? I guess that's the "big parrot in a little body" everyone uses to describe the conures!

When Inca eats something he really likes (today it was popcorn with garlic and cayenne sprinkled on it), he runs around and spins in circles chirping. He gets going so fast, it's like he's a wild man and starts beaking like crazy. It can be a little painful, but it's hilarious!

Inca sounds like a real trip and yes I agree conures have a huge attitude lol. I love it when Gypsy just freaks out, she usually does this when we fail to pick her up when she calls. She is very strict with us and if we dont listen well. there will be flapping wings, high pitched screeches and she just might try to fly lol even though she is clipped for soft flight.
