It's come to my attention - and I've seen this enough to know this to be a fact - that some of our signatures seem to be bleeding into other members' posts. This can be a major problem as it makes it all-but-impossible to read others' posts, depending on the circumstances. So, after a bit of thought, here's my decision...and, no, I'm not prohibiting signatures; they're as much a part of our individual identities' as anything else here. The rule on signatures is this: when posting, make sure - if it a short post of just a few lines - to either, (a)add several lines of empty space to your space (i.e. hit the enter button on your keyboard) or (b)click off the "Include your signature with this post" so that, when you hit the post button, your post will come up but w/out the signature. This way there isn't any bleedthrough of members' sigs into other posts. Any thoughts? |

It did bleed, they all do for whatever reason and not always. No worries. I fixed it... He isn't saying to get rid of it. Read again. |

Nobody's suggesting that, Xtreme; for the record, that's a very nice sig you have there and you wouldn't be the only one that would be steamed if it was discarded, I'd hate it as well. What's happening is that, for some reason - and it may be simply a ZB bug that's present, regardless of forum - whenever there's a short post, the sigs tend to 'push' themselves up into the posts; when this happens enough time, it can make the thread look like an epic mess. I'm simply trying to get ahead of this and find a solution agreeable to everyone before it gets worse. And before you say anything, let me be clear: I will not, at any time, ask anyone to discard a signature unless it violates ZB's ToS and as I far as I can tell, my friend, all of our signatures pass with flying colors.

Yeah, Chrome, for all of its' simplicity of use over Firefox, IE, etc., for some reason I guess never thought it out enough...oh, well; we'll figure something out. I think Tanya in an earlier post said that she'd fixed it; we'll see if the fix works. *thumbs up* |

He's right, it is just chrome. A complaint was made in January about it and a fix to the css was made. I went on firefox and ie to make sure neither of those had issues and they don't. I think it's fixed now. |
