(Reddit) How Do You Get Out Of Reading Slumps?
Quote:

I've barely read anything in a month due to depression (or what I at least suspect is depression). I love reading but during the past month I haven't felt like reading (or doing anything else) at all. When I try to read I just can't focus and give up quickly. I really miss reading though and I really want to get back into it.

The book I was reading before I got into my reading slump was The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and I'm currently about 270 pages into that one. Last week I started reading another book (The Accidental Universe by Alan Lightman) hoping I just needed to read something else for the motivation to come back. It hasn't worked so far.

How do you get out of reading slumps? Should I try yet another book? Any advice? (Reddit user rebbieh)
