(The Independent) Several pedestrians have been injured after being hit by a van in London. Witnesses said the vehicle veered off the road into crowds outside Finsbury Park Mosque but it was unclear whether the collision was deliberate. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said officers were called at 12.20am. "Officers are on the scene with other emergency services," he added. "There are a number of casualties being worked on at the scene. There has been one person arrested. ![]() ....so at the moment we've got what could very well be a terrorist attack against a well-known radical British Mosque.....three possibilities here: (1) This was an attack agst the mosque by radical jihadists in an effort to go after mainstream Muslims who pray at Finsbury Park (2) This was an attack agst the mosque by those opposed to the mosque who believe it should be closed down (3) This was nothing more than a horrifying accident.... |
