Color me surprised, lol. Wasn't expecting another Wing unit to make it in. Guess they wanted to cover their bases. I mean yeah, we have Quatre already but not in Sandrock.

Well, the official update came out yesterday or the day before?

Also, boss fight with Sthesia Awar Nono. So far, she seems to at least attack more than the other variants.

Full Armor ZZ (3000 now)

Normal (FA) Mode

Main: ammo 6→8. The split priority from the 2 beams has been unified. (The implication here is that although the attack looks like and until now has been a 2-beam attack, it's essentially a wide 1-beam shot now as a 1hit will do the same as a 2hit)
BC (now mode change): →Sub (double cannon) and →AC (zaku head Zeta assist) cancel routes added

Enhanced (Armor Purge) Mode

[BC]~B melee attack: followup performance increased
4/6B: 4th stage hit's float condition changed to be easier to followup.
8B: damage 75→85. startup speed and followup performance improved. on-hit float condition changed to be easier to followup.
BD melee: followup performance increased.
[melee]~8B followup (kick): proration lowered. on-hit float condition changed to be easier to followup.
[melee]~2B followup (heel drop): damage 90→100. Hit effect changed such that it can now be followed up (so this probably means it's a bounced Down now).



ZZ Gundam (2500 cost)

MS Mode & MA Mode

Main: split priority from 2 beams merged into 1 beam (same as FA ZZ Main)

MS Mode

Main: →AC (Quebely Mk II assist) cancel route added
AC: →BC (separation attack) cancel route added
BC: immediately after separation for a fixed time avoids enemy attacks (so like Force Impulse Sub now. I thought it already did this...)
[BC]~A followup (→high mega cannon gerobi): startup speed increased
5B: →BC cancel route added to every stage
4/6B: →BC cancel route added to every stage. Stage 3 Down value lowered.
8B: →BC cancel route added
2B: →BC cancel route added to every stage
BD melee: →BC cancel route added to 1st stage only

MA Mode

Mobility increased
Main: 1hit damage 70→100. Bullet speed and tacking both increased. Down value increased. On-hit effect changed to a Down effect. →Sub (spool missile launcher), →AC (Quebely Mk II), →BC (missile launcher) cancel routes added.



Virsago Chest Break

Mobility increased
Rear-shooting action: carries momentum through now
CSa: damage increased (1hit 55→60. total damage 110→120). →BC cancel route added.
Sub: beam's effective range increased. →Sub cancel route added (so can rapid fire now)
AC: startup speed increased. →BC cancel route added
BC: beam proration lowered.
4/6B: Stage 3 hit's Down value lowered, and on-hit float condition changed to be easier to followup.
EX Attack: During the startup, the "alignment" performance has been buffed (so muzzle correction?). Length of time the gerobi fires has been increased.

Hyperion

Sub (double beam cannon): startup speed increased
AC (power-up mode): Now available on deployment.
[AC]~AC: (something about cartridge reload and leftover ammo. I need to look at a video or something to try and figure out what exactly this is talking about)
2B (beam knife throw/stun): travel speed and tracking improved. →Sub cancel route added.
5BB~ and 4/6BB~2B followup: no longer consumes boost.



Blue Destiny 1

Normal and EXAM Modes

Main: stagger enemies more easily
BC: can now be used in overheat
EX Attack: GM's health increased

Normal Mode

AC: startup speed increased

EXAM Mode

AC: startup speed increased. GM's health increased. Bullet speed, tracking, and blast range all improved.
BC, 5B, 4/6B, 8B, 2B, BD melee: all have had their followup performance improved



Red Quebely Mk II

Main: beam speed and tracking both improved
Sub: staggers enemies more easily
AC: Bawoo's health increased. Is active for +5s longer. Now carries through momentum.
BC: funnel movement speed increased. now stay closer to the enemy after attacking.



Zudah

Shared Changes

HP 480→500
Now gains EX more slowly

Normal Mode

Main: no longer stops in place when reloading
CSb: charge time -0.5s. active time +2s.
Sub: reload time -1s



Banshee Norn

HP 780→720
Gains EX gauge more quickly now.
Sub: reload time +1s. MGaAP tracking nerfed.



Dreadnought (X-Astray)

EX Overdrive: there was a bug that caused ammo reload rate in S Drive to be too fast, and this has been corrected.
CSa (BR high output): charge time +0.5s
Sub (beam reamer "funnels"): reload time +3s
5Sub (self-attached reamers): damage 35→30. proration increased. beam speed and tracking both nerfed.
BC (dragoons): reload +1s
8B: no longer has auto-shield functionality when hit by a ranged attack

It sucks that it's getting the Zero system instead of them actually trying to make an actual new and real move for it. Sure, let's give it the system that it used in one episode, in the MS with a standard cockpit that wasn't even equipped much less built to use it. Almost as dumb as the "Sandrock came to life" scene.

And Nono is love. Pure, sweet, sexually charged love. And yeah, she definitely seems to actually attack more frequently, unlike the other 2. But it's a shame that her attacks no longer freeze you.

Well, from what I got from the wiki, subject to change/updated.

Unit: XXG-01SR2 Gundam Sandrock Kai
Pilot: Quatre Raberba Winner
Cost: 2000

Main: Beam Machine Gun
Melee: Heat Shotel
CSb: Zero System (Single use per sortie)
Sub: Maganac Corps Assist (Direction dependent?)
Special Fire: Heat Shotel Throw
Special Melee: ?

Melee seems a bit sluggish but then that is just YT but then again, they recently added in 60FPS functionality(for new videos) but requires Chrome + 720p or higher and more than likely for the source video to be encoded at that FPS setting. That aside, for a "tank" armor like unit, it is on the lower end of the 2ks for HP.

Wonder if the missiles are a melee combo finisher since it appears to not be available on the weapon GUI load out. Also maybe they'll throw in some combo or maybe a counter to use the cross-crusher ability with the shield and shotels.

Kinda wish they'd just throw a curve ball with unit unlocks and just chuck in GBF stuff but that probably won't happen on MB. I mean look how long it has taken them to put in AGE stuff, still missing AGE-3 too, lol.

Well, guess that came sooner than expected.

Since we're following a "NEXT" iteration here, then we'll see if they'll draw a parallel from NEXT or change it up completely. NEXT's setup was as follows:

As Shining Gundam/Super Mode

a: Shining Shot
ab: Vulcan/Machine Gun (Stationary/OOA)
*ab: King of Hearts Shining Finger (Gerobi, Only in Super Mode)
ac: Super Mode (Timed power up)
*ac: Battou (Pulls out Shining Finger Sword, only in Super Mode)
bc: Shining Finger

*When using Shining Finger Sword
a: Shining Shot (Will return back to Super Mode)
ab: King of Hearts Shining Finger (Gerobi,Will return back to Super Mode)
ac: Sheathe (Puts away SFS, Will return back to Super mode)
bc: Shining Finger (Will return back to Super Mode)
* Using anything outside of melee and assist puts away SFS and back to Super Mode)

abc was Dragon Gundam assist for either mode.

For my own guesses, I think they will remove the vulcans and either stick that as an assist/remap assist, so either Dragon or maybe get something new now, like Maxter, Rose or Bolt or heck, make it a variable assist depending on direction. I still kind of see everything else remaining relatively the same. Meikyo Shisui will probably function just as God and Master are, so only during Burst. I do see Normal/Super Mode, Shining Finger Sword mentioned from what I could make it.

So OoC, has anyone heard the recent rumors that Maxi Boost will not go to PS3, and will get bumped up to PS4 now that it's finally started geaining some steam on the moon?

Well, I couldn't imagine it would be too hard. Maybe before, considering the architecture between PS3 and PS4 is vastly different, with the PS4 being pretty much PC-esque(Though it isn't mind blowing power compare to today's rigs). However, when you factor in that Rise of the Incarnates, which is running on the VS engine but for PC, then porting over MB to PS4 wouldn't be too left field. Would be a good way to boost PS4 sales though the PS3 users still out numbers it largely. I mean I recently acquired a 2nd PS4 to resell to my co-worker. Outside of him, I only know one other person who has a PS4 and my lead has an Xbone. Everyone else that I know are still on 360/PS3.

So it looks like Shining isn't too far off from the NEXT variant.

a: Shining Shot
CSb: Super Mode (Looks Timer based, pretty much Banshee's NT-D from the looks of it).
ab: Vulcans
ac: Kowloon assist. (So this changed, direction dependent)
bc: Shining Finger?

Super Mode
a: Shining Shot (Maybe increase ammo/range?)

Looks like during Super Mode, Shining Sword stays out where as NEXT, you could sheathe it. I'm expecting one of the CS's to be a KoH Shining Shot. Burst automatically goes Meikyo Shisui + Super Mode. Burst attack is a powered Shining Sword downward strike like Zeta/ZZ/Epyon?

I would imagine they could easily release it for both PS3 and PS4 if they wanted to, just tweaking it a bit. Though not exactly the same Bamco has probably been one of if not THE biggest compangy to release their games for both PS3 and Vita.

PS4 wise I just got one myself this past thursday. Took a while to settle in that I finally bought one. Then another while for it to settle in that Oh my god, this thing has no fucking games....(yet).

And Shining is out for VS conquest winners. That Super gauge takes awfully long to build manually. Seems to be like Leos where you need to deal or receive damage to build it faster. Super mode doesn't last very long either. I can see them buffing this up down the road.
