I asked my local arcade if they were bringing the game in, and they told me the game must go online and the online is Japan only. "So sorry we can’t bring in this game at this moment but we will be informing you when this game is open for South East Asia."

Ps3 version might come out sooner, who knows! Either way, booooo.

The wait for PS3 port.. I can bear it.

Throne Drei action. Seems to have been uploaded awhile back. Though I expect more videos to pop up within the week or so since release is April 5th.

This video is from Hong Kong, I can tell that they are speaking Cantonese.

Throne Drei GN Stealth Field (Big Red Wings) is used for cutting tracking/guidance on your partner. You will red circle on its partner whenever it uses it. The downside Drei just float still in the air until the timer for the weapon run out or get shot/melee'd.

There's a couple of direct feeds out at the time of this post. I'll be reupping them to YT. Unfortunately, none of the new units are used, just Sinanju, Gelgoog, FAZZ and V2. Will upload new unit footage if direct feed shows up.

Just spent some time with FB today, thought I'd post my first impressions. If there's some stuff that's been said already, I apologize in advance but I'm just gonna throw everything together in one big post.

Interface: Identical but has a bamco card interface. you choose your burst style after selecting your suit, and cannot change it in between matches.

Communications: Post-win communication is great. hopefully you can customize it in the future. Health coms seemed to have been changed slightly as well - there's an additional white hp com I think.

Susa: The change from 2k to 2.5k in and of itself really makes a world of difference. The buffs he receives from 2k to 2.5k aren't too big, but being a 2.5k by itself really helps him understand his role, making him a lot less of a contradictory suit. susa can now play front in 1k, 2k, and 2.5k without feeling weird. his new nBC is amazing. It's a charging attack with a 5b attack hitbox on the end. Only goes straight, and moves decently fast (moderately comparable to redframe) but doesn't go as far. The cancel windows are the same as his other BCs, so you can do stuff like nBC -> CSa -> nBC. Works wonders for chasing and the startup is much faster than his 6bc. Pizza charge time improved dramatically. The splitting pizzas happen in transam with buff applied only, and the trajectory is similar to destiny's boomerangs in terms of angle. The increased health also helps him make the most of his transams, and being the higher cost in most of his comps means if he wants to slow play until his transam is up, his partner will be much more obliged to as a support player.

extreme gundam: pretty fucking amazing. his second form feels like master gundam with better ranged tools lol. he has the same MF style run and jump, and his 6b seems identical to master 6b - has the same 6bb > 6bbb bnb. he has a quanta-2b'ish move which does a ground aoe on floor impact. his main and CSa fire huge but slow shots that can be used similar to sekiha's, but dont limit his b usage like master's sekihas do, giving him a really nice edge in closing in and spacing. his sub is a dual stunning sweep similar to gold sumo's, but sweeps from either side to the center. really fucking nasty.

noir: felt like a mix between Blue Destiny and Freedom. BR is a laser beam style machine gun. doesn't seem to have the auto reload like blue destiny does though. Sub is a solid 2 stock railgun, and his BC is a like BD's but with TWO STOCKS. the two stock in the first place is really amazing and gives him tons of options. he also has his cartwheel spin fire.

gyan: hilarious. his melee combos look pretty cool his shield looks pretty damn practical, but i dunno about how usable his cage summon or land mines are.

stargazer: his twirling laser spam move is CSa and looks hilarious. his weird dolphin swim is bizarre. i think it might just be his sidestep but i dunno. Couldn't really figure out how his landmines work just from observation but his d-matrix move is pretty cute.

impulse: really awesome, no more IWSP meaning the main focus of the suit is controlling the modes, something i think strike really should have been about. Normal mode is pretty straight forward, and I didn't really see much about it. Sword mode's boomerang is quite good - it feels about as good as IJ's in terms of speed startup length and width. certainly not as much coverage as destiny's, but by far much more usable than strike or strike IWSP's boomerangs. his bd8b combo in this mode is really solid with decent cut resistance. ranged mode comes with 26 micromissiles, railguns, and a gerobi. good at what it is but feels a bit less turtly than strike's version. I also don't think you can steer his gerobi. his railguns seem really solid though. and yes, the mode changes are much more fluid to use.

that's pretty much the gist I got from observing - I played a handful of games, but as susa only. I might go back later tomorrow and try out some noir. Unfortunately I lost my phone so I don't have a good way of capturing video or I'd be uploading replays of various suits from the live monitor.

The game physics are a bit different - everything felt slightly weird when I got my hands on it, but overall its similar enough that its not entirely alien. you are correct about stepping, people seem to use it a lot more. i think there is less vertical ascent momentum so the arc is more shallow, making it safer just more useful.

To be more specific, sidestepping is now THE technique to abuse. It precedes over boost dashing in many cases. just look at the new wing zero or something and you'll see why. sidestepping and fuwastepping gives you such stupid horizontal coverage that you dont really need to even boost cancel half the time. not to mention it still cuts guidance.

Gundam Extreme Versus Fuwa Boost.
