Namco Bandai is bringing the arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost to PlayStation 3. The game will have 90+ Gundams to pilot including mecha from New Mobile Report Gundam Wing and Gundam EXA.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost will have many theme songs from the anime series in the game. There are 30 tracks from the arcade version and an additional five songs in the PS3 release.

Online play has evolved for Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost. Arcade mode has online co-op play, matchmaking has been improved to factor in a player’s rank and win percentage. Also, lobbies can hold up to twelve players. Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost is slated for release in 2014.

Would have preferred co-op trial mission mode than co-op arcade. =/

I was disappointed that it won't be Q4 2013, but Q1 2014 might be "January".

I am still confused as to why they say "20 new units for a total of over 90". I listed all of the Full Boost-exclusive units, and there are 25, unless the ones that were launched when Full Boost debuted in April 2012 (Gyan, Impulse, Stargazer, Victory, Throne Drei) have been somehow grandfathered into the original Extreme Vs. library.

According to shiro_clanclan on Gfaqs.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention. Someone earlier mentioned that the PS4 can play DL PS3 games? Well, the Famitsu article for Full Boost says that both the regular and Premium G Sound editions are being released on the PS Store as digital releases in addition to the physical release. So if that's true, then there you go PS4 scrubs, you can emulate a PS3 and play 'PS4 Full Boost'. :P

For reals? Digital download too? Man, I can imagine the JP PSN taking a crap during that release date. Guess I'm going to end up with both a physical and digital copy.

Haha, that interview with Producer really confirm this rumor.

This game need Online Pass for Online Play, freely distributed within the game itself. You can also purchase this somewhere later (most likely in PSN store like every other games)

It actually works pretty good as a Vita WP as long as the page doesn't have too many skittles.

Sony's event will be live streamed again, and they're bringing out the big hitters. Specifically MGS5. FB will be getting a 20 min presentation as well.

http://www.dualshockers.com/2013/09/17/playstations-tokyo-game-show-livestream-schedule-fully-detailed-starts-strong-with-deep-down-mgs5/

......Who gives a flying fuck about Knack? Hell it's a western title that even the west gives no fucks about so why even bring it to TGS?

As long as my work doesn't have me working at night, I should be able to record it like I did with EXVS @ TGS last time and have it up on YT within a couple hours. Also in some odd miracle, I've stopped getting "Third Party Content Matched" YT emails for past couple days. They either finally got done with the content ID hunting or I've already taken down all Sony Music Entertainment vocal bgms (00/SEED/Destiny)

Probably won't have to since Bamco will have it up on their own as well from what I'm hearing. Many of the TGS streams are doing that at the request of sony, (Who's recently been putting up their shows and streams online asap once it ends)

Calling it now. Akatsuki will be in the final product. Might have a glance of it during the event.

And it's shorter compared to the ExVS. Hopfully they show new footage and not just some random players doing another VS match.

Just to refresh this: Bamco will be doing an hour presentation for Full Boost on September 21st.

Quote:

13:00 to 14:00 – Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Full Boost Special Stage – The latest information and highlights on the game, and a “Premium G Sound Edition” sale decision commemoration performance. Featuring Akira Asakura, Nami Tamaki, MIQ, Chihiro Yonekura, and Namco Bandai producers Hiroshi Kosuge and Jin Okubo. [Sponsor Stage]

Then Sony themselves will also do their own bit as Arawn linked above about an hour later after Bamco's presentation. Both of these will be on September 21.
Quote:

15:10 to 15:30 – Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Full Boost (PS3, Namco Bandai)

Links to complete TGS 2013 Live Stream Schedule: Gematsu

I'm surprised Tōru Furuya is not on the guest list unless he's going to be a surprise guest. If he does show up, hoping he'll slip again about another upcoming Gundam game =P
