This policy was created to protect members from those of who would bring harm. As such, please review the guidelines below. 1.) No member should have to feel bad or intimidated from another member or from the staff. This board strives to be a peaceful and fun community and those who feel wronged have every right to voice their problems. If a member or staff member have offended or made you feel bad in anyway, please contact a member of the staff you'd feel most comfortable to talking with and try to sort it out. 2.) No Story will ever be rejected just because of the Genre, however please do be careful of how you exercise conduct. As stated in the Standard Conduct Thread, any stories that need a warning should be labeled in the main titles, not the descriptions. Constructive Criticism should not be taken to heart, but should you feel someone has crossed the line, contact a staff member to try and solve the problem. 3.) The staff of this board are volunteers who have decided to put their dignity on the line to make this community fun and safe. While one may come off as mean, many staff members mean well and should be respected for the sacrifice of their personal time. The Staff will never insult someone or engage in misconduct. Warning System As with any board, Crimson Tears has a warning system to help keep rowdy members in check. As such each member has a warn-bar only visible to themselves and the staff. This is to protect even the most intrusive of individuals, but lets them know the staff is watching. There are several steps in the warning system: Warning: Given only to those who have done something not agreeable, but fixable. No warning increase. Abusive Warning: Given to those who have broken a rule severely and even though intentions were not as such, warrant that a small action be taken. Warning level increases to 25%. Strike One: Your warnings have been all used up and any rules you break will cost you. Your warning level will be raised to 50% and your posting abilities revoked for 8-12 hours. Strike Two: Your getting on the boards bad side, disrupting m embers and pretty much have not learned the last time we did this. Depending on severity of your offense you may be suspended for 24 - 72 hours, and your warning level goes to 75%. Strike Three: This is pretty much the end game for any troublesome members. Your now Banned. Edited by Hayato, Nov 22 2013, 02:40 PM.
