Any interest in a guild lottery event? Everyone does like to gamble anyways :D
Could be organized like this:
- Ticket would cost 50s (maybe), money would be placed in guild stash and PM me the number of tickets - I'd keep an excel file of who bought how many tickets - Winning ticket would be selected using RNG - Winner would recieve all the money used for tickets
Could be done like every other week. What do you think?

Really awesome, but I think there should be only one ticket for one person, so that everybody had the same chance to win.

Really awesome, but I think there should be only one ticket for one person, so that everybody had the same chance to win. Expected value will be always the same (it will be equal to ammount that you invest), so for me there is no problem in buying more tickets. It's zero-sum game.

I didn't mean that it would be unfair if you could buy more tickets and have a bigger chance to win. I meant that I'd like everyone to have an equal chance to win. So that even people who are usually hesitant to take part in events, or don't have much cash would also share the fun. I don't think we want to see only Moon and Veex playing, like with the screenshot event? ;)

If I buy tickets for 100g and you buy one for 50 silver and against all odds you win, I'll cry like a little bitch. That's why it's fair for people to buy more tickets ;)

Wow, you quote my words even thought you clearly didn't read them... I'll repeat one more time. The fact that it's fair doesn't mean it would be fun (and the 'one ticket per one person' system is also fair, so why insist on something else?) I don't care that it's fair or that Lotto does it. I personally won't take part if I know that I have a much smaller chance to win than others. I've got enough bad luck as it is, I don't need to play a game of chance in which I'm handicapped from the start. And I believe that many members would think the same way, whereas the point of this event (at least I thought so) was for as many people to take part as possible.
Edit: Why do I even bother... As usual there's only 3-4 people speaking in the topic, so I guess the non-active members will not take part and as usual this will be a battle between Veex and Moon...

Zu was saying that she wants the same win chance for all, not talking about the expected amount of return based on propability.

Haha, I love the tension in this topic.
+To keep it on topic. I think it is a good idea, but i won't participate in it. Not my thing.
