Kevin - Excellent article review. I too thought the Porter article has some novel concepts. I also agree that the shift from CSR to CSV will take time especially for large profit generating multinationals to understand. However, I found myself asking the questions as to how many larger corporations are already working with a CSV approach in its own operations? For example, we read much about Coca-Cola this semester and how they have several initiatives in place which add value and have both economic and societal benefits relative to cost --- just think of all of the olympic stories and commerical we have heard of coke doing good for society -- this press is inevitably giving the coca-cola brand even more of a large presence.
