| Welcome To The Night You find yourself in London on a dreary, foggy night like any other. But what lurks in the shadows is the stuff of fantasies and nightmares, far from mortal reality. This game uses the cursed and immortal vampiric condition as a backdrop to explore themes of morality, depravity, the human condition, salvation, and personal horror. We are a writing and roleplaying community dedicated to telling complex and engaging stories. Your fate is your own. Mingle among the ivory-tower elite in the Camarilla, join the fight of the discontented and chaotic Anarch rabble, or set out independently and attempt to survive in London's nighttime underworld. A letter has found it's way into the mailbox of Blythe House, as letters are wont to. The envelope appears to be creased, with several scribbles of the original address on it, indicating that the sender had some difficulty getting the correct address and it was returned a few times beforehand. Inside is a handwritten note, the penmanship sloppy but manageable, and several lines crossed out but re-written:

The following letter gets sent in return and arrives at Cail's place very shortly afterwards. The elaborate handwriting and cleanliness of the letter included alone speak of some importance that might extend to the content as well. An appendix contains a route description to Gunnersbury Library and 600 English Pounds. 'Dear Mr Rourke ! Thank you for contacting us for information, we hope to be as helpful as possible in regards to any questions you might have ! If you could spare the time, it would be good if you were willing and prepared to see us in Gunnersbury Library to discuss details and a few formalities of your condition and taking residence in London. Tomorrow around midnight would be most preferrable, I hope this isn't a particular problem for you. If so, notify us via the adress you already used. An address and description of how to get there is included, see the appendix for details ! Please dress in accordance with the importance of the occasion. Should you be unable to, I assumed the liberty to include some expenses to take care of that as well. Again, see the appendix for this. We are looking forward to meet you and hope you will find London well and in a good state. Yours faithfully, James Henderson on behalf of Mr A. Blücher' |

"Papers, Please."

The following typewritten letter is delivered by ghoul courier: To: Mr. J. Henderson, Seneschal of London From: HH Alarik Blücher, Prince of London Subject: Presentation Location London, 4th of February 2014 Seneschal, I was surprised to learn that you took the liberty of intercepting Mr. Rourke's letter from the Blythe House letterbox, especially since you have not expressed an interest in new applicants to the Domain for some time. While you are, of course, welcome to participate in the proceedings or to stand in for me during my absence, it would be safer to process applicants at the Blythe House. Perhaps you could make sure that that the appropriate paperwork is filled out in advance of this Blythe House meeting? The original letter suggests that he may be the sort of low-literate individual who could use some assistance from a helpful hand. Yours Sincerely, Alarik Blücher Prince of London ![]() The following form is attached to the message:
