UPDATE: Hospitality Club was recently burned to the ground. Now it is... A crater. Use the following description for flashbacks or to alleviate the nostalgia. The Clientele Exterior The exterior of the Hospitality Club is a Brownstone building set among a collection of residences. No sign is given on the outside that the building is anything but a regular home for mortals. The building's main security resides in the fact that it is easily overlooked. The windows have ingrained iron filigree to make breaking in difficult and the door is solid and simply painted old wood. 1st Floor NO SMOKING The first floor was a dark stained hardwood with heavy tables, bolted to the floor with solid iron brackets. The owner didn't want to make it easy for people to start brawls. The chairs are all weighty, dark wood and leather. The wood is all thick and hard to break into anything easily used as a stake. The bar is massive with several heavy barrels along the back, giving it a bit of the old Irish Pub vibe to it, only more settled for quiet conversation. A cold fireplace was built into the back wall. There was easily room for a dozen people to sit around the various tables without crowding.
Also in plain sight by the steps is a simple sign, much like you might come across in a dentist's office. 1st Floor - Pub & Recreation Area 2nd Floor - Reading Library, Conference Room, Meeting Office
3rd Floor - Conference Center, Offices, Manager's Office. 2nd Floor The second floor is heavily carpeted and scattered with enormous lounge chairs and small groupings of arm chairs around a few low tables. The walls were lined with bookshelves and various leather bound books. Lynx has filled it with books of various old philosophers, poets, artists, etc. Leather bound editions of both fiction and non. Books that FELT old even if they weren't. Ones that would give anyone lingering in the quiet plenty to read, relax and enjoy quiet conversation. The large brick chimney traveled up the wall to provide warmth but didn't have it's own fireplace. This floor could also hold over a dozen people quietly conversing. There are also fake leather books which when opened reveal binders with graphic novels bound within them, for the more comic book oriented. All are labeled clearly to show what they contain. The 2nd Floor also contains the room 2B a conference room set aside for the use of Ms Piscina Sherwood, an illustrious crafter of dreams and miracles. The room can vary wildly in appearance, depending on the desires of it's owner. Aside from this there are two small meeting rooms with a few heavy arm chairs around small coffee tables. Upstairs Offices The last floor holds a few quiet offices, reserved for private use. Next door to it was a conference room for private discourse, several heavy leather couches and soft lamps. But one had to come up several flights of stairs to reach the third floor. Each floor did have a bathroom with full shower to accommodate ghouls who might be serving the vampires or visiting with them. Lynx also has his office on the top floor, though the brass plaque still reads Jason Dahlgren to continue the illusion that the Gangrel Elder is on the premises regularly. Conference Room The building had small, hard to spot security cameras stationed to give the owners a solid view of the establishment in case of a problem. Clearly located all over the area were smoke detectors and each floor had a fire alarm that was clearly connected to an alarm. The building had few windows and those that were there had heavy wooden shutters covering them. Ironwork filigree covered the glass and the windows clearly didn't open. Ceiling fans circulated the air through the building keeping it from getting dusty and stale. The front door triggered a chime as it opened, making it hard to slip in and out unnoticed. |

Available upon asked. A folded red leather folded with a simple menu written on the inside. Nothing fancy. Computer printed paper stuck in a retail folder.

The Basement: In the back behind the bar was a stairwell leading down to a basement with a number of refrigeration units for storing plasma. The basement also contains barrels of ale, beer and other spirits, and a heavy wooden shelf where bottles of alcoholic blood and real spirits are stored, all carefully labeled. The various clutter of a storage space is scattered about the area. In one area the cement of the floor had been broken down and the bare earth the building was built upon had been exposed. The basement contains a small private room with several heavy leather couches and an entertainment center. A tiny furnished room that could easily house a few people willing to sit closely together. Meeting Rooms: The 2nd floor has 2 meeting rooms. One room is a a large leather couch, a small but very study oak coffee table and three leather arm chairs. It's a comfortable room meant for relaxation and polite conversation. The floor is hardwood and there is a small heavy end table next to each of the arm chairs, fit for someone to rest their belongings on. The second room has a long oval table and six thickly upholstered oak arm chairs suitable for sitting around the table and having a more conference style meeting. The 3rd floor has a repeat of the first two meeting rooms with a third more business oriented meeting room. The third meeting room on that floor is a longer rectangular table with 8 ladder back oaken chairs. There is an electronic projector hanging from the ceiling and a white painted wall for projecting images. A pedestal in the corner holds a laptop equipped with a dvd driver and a flash drive hook up, though no access to the internet. The laptop connects to the projector overhead and allows one to broadcast images onto the wall for more business like meetings. Bathrooms: Each floor has a full bathroom. The bathrooms have a standing glass shower large enough for two (if they're very friendly) with a molded tile shelf basket which holds a bottle of shampoo, conditioner and soap. They also have a standing sink and a toilet and do lock. The toilets are marked as Unisex and each has a full length mirror on the inside of the door and a smaller mirror hanging over the sink. Video Cameras: Every room of the Hospitality Club has a number of video cameras hidden about them. These cameras are worked into the wooden molding. Part of the smoke detectors. They are extremely discreet and hard to spot. They record 24/7 to a private server on the premises. They were arranged carefully so that there are no dead zones in the video coverage. They also record sound. There is nothing to indicate that the building has such a security system in place. This security system does NOT at any point access the internet. The private server can be accessed from Lynx's office and while he CAN burn DVD's of selected video feed coverage unless he earmarks a bit of footage to be saved they are automatically written over at 30 days to save space on the drivers. Fire Suppression: After several fires were started in the reading library and a number of the books and bits of furniture was damaged by the sprinkler system they had the fire suppression system renovated with a much more modern Halon gas system. The system uses Halon 1301 the gaseous fire retardant which stifles fire. While humans can grow dizzy and light headed as the oxygen levels of the room are reduced the gas is only mildly toxic and exiting the area will result in no lasting harm to mortals. Entrances & Exits: The front door and a closet ladder which leads to the room are the only entrances and exits to the building. The windows are covered by steel filigreed shutters that keep people from breaking into them. The shutters also reduce the amount of light which makes it in through the windows and makes it hard to spot the light blocking curtains which hang on the inside of the windows. The closet ladder leads to a bolted hatch that legs onto the roof and from there a person can make their way along the row of brownstones until one reaches the end of the row and finds a fire escape. The front door is a wooden veneer of a steel door. There is a magnetic bar that runs the inner edges of the front door and matches an electric magnet running through the molding of the door. While normally completely shut off a panic button under the bar can turn on the magnets and make it very difficult to open the front door without a great deal of physical strength. This was put into place when they considered how to deal with a mortal who might see something they shouldn't and try to flee. Edited by Lynx, Friday, 3. October 2014, 19:11.
