Pidge dialed the number she'd been given for Blythe House. As she counted the rings, she squinted at a crumpled scrap of paper in her hand. She'd been told to ask for a Mr. Jhael, and if she didn't start memorizing names soon...well, she'd better start memorizing names soon. |

"Blythe House." Some shuffling could be heard as Jhael shouldered the phone to his ear and spun in his chair away from the keyboard he brought in. Amidst stacked rows of energy drink cans, he had been practicing the same song for hours upon hours in his office, which was dimmed to a blue light. The same song in the dark for so long that it was disorienting to switch to his desktop keyboard to draw up his work files. "How may I help you?" He cleared his throat and blinked several times at his screen, pupils adjusting to the bright white of the windows he pulled up. |

Phone voice. Phone voice. Shit. Um. "Hi, uh, this is Elizabeth Veidt? I'm calling for a Mr. Jhael, with regards to...scheduling a presentation? I was given this number by Mr. Henderson?" She was trying her desperate best to sound mature, but she was so nervous. The high rising terminal was inevitable. |

"Mmhm, it's alright, Ms. Veidt. You have the right number," he assured, detecting some kind of uncertainty in the woman's voice. Though a tall row of file cabinets lined the wall on the other side of the room, for his own reference Jhael kept files on his personal computer. "Will be working for Mr. Henderson?" He opened the folder titled The Invisible Man. "I'll just need a safe email or mailing address and I can send you the forms." |

Ok, good, she'd at least gotten this part right. "Um, I'm not really sure? I'm a...cousin of his. I haven't quite figured out work yet." The idea of an Actual Job was nothing short of terrifying to the perpetual teenager. Henderson probably worked in an office. Guh-ross. "I already have the forms all filled out, actually - I can bring them with me, or drop them off ahead of time, whichever's better? Aaaaaand there should also be a letter from Mr. Henderson at some point." |

"Great!" This teenager sounded enthusiastic about doing less work, even if that work would have been just mailing out a .pdf. "That's great. I can put you down for 1:30 on Monday night, if that works for you. And, umm..." Furrowing his brow in thought, he closed the email window and switched his phone to the other shoulder. "Yeah, actually, send it ahead of time if you can. Just to save time at the meeting, he can read it advance," he explained while massaging a soreness in his neck. "Will that be all, ma'am?" OOC

"1:30 on Monday, got it," Pidge replied, scribbling the time and date on her scrap of paper. "I'll have the paperwork over before then." Small grin. Easy as pie. "I think that's all for now. Thank you for your help, Mr. Jhael!" |
